Все замечательно, старинный замок с современными удобствами, очень красиво.

Cons:

Шумоизоляция номеров, в соседнем номере кричал ребенок всю ночь и не получилось хорошо выспаться.

Amazing property, beautiful and quaint, perfect to recharge and rest while enjoying Italian countryside.
But what I really really love about this place, every time we stay here is the restaurant and delicious food they serve! Absolutely wonderful!

Stepping into medieval charm
Pros:

The castle, you truly feel you have entered medieval times. Great restaurant and breakfast garden with all nice options and the best cafe ;) The pool is also nice for a relaxing break!

Cons:

The building is very old, as you can imagine, and we stayed in the actual castle. You could see that some of the rooms had cracks on the walls, but we still did not feel unsafe. It's partly the charm of it!

Amazing Stay
Pros:

Amazing venue with a beautiful setting. The staff were amazing and so helpful. Lots of great activities to do at the hotel. Such a relaxing stay.

Cons:

Pool was very relaxing but could be kept cleaner in the pool itself. Difficult to leave to hotel and go anywhere else without your own transport.

Il Castello di San Gaudenzio è una dimora semplicemente incantevole: una location fiabesca, circondata da esterni magnifici e perfettamente curati, capace di trasportare gli ospiti in un’atmosfera d’altri tempi. Le camere sono molto belle e la suite, in particolare, è davvero superlativa per eleganza, fascino e comfort.

Tutto il personale merita i complimenti più sinceri per professionalità, attenzione e cortesia. Una menzione speciale va a Icaro, il bellboy, impeccabile per disponibilità ed eleganza, e alla ragazza del bar: una persona di raro acume, spontaneamente simpatica e capace di rendere ogni momento ancora più piacevole.

L’unica nota decisamente meno positiva riguarda il ristorante. I prezzi risultano, a mio avviso, assolutamente sovrastimati rispetto all’esperienza proposta. Anche il servizio, pur professionalmente attento, è fin troppo presente e pressante, lasciando poco spazio alla tranquillità degli ospiti. Infine, i tavoli enormi sono completamente fuori sintonia con il romanticismo del luogo: in un castello così suggestivo ci si aspetterebbe maggiore intimità, non una distanza quasi diplomatica tra due persone.

Con qualche correzione nell’esperienza gastronomica, il Castello di San Gaudenzio potrebbe diventare una destinazione davvero perfetta. La bellezza del luogo, delle stanze e soprattutto la qualità umana del personale restano comunque assolutamente memorabili.
