Location amazing and the staff were outstanding. All of the facilities were impeccable

Cons:

However on arrival we were told that the ala carte menu was not available as it would be too hot for us to enjoy but in its place would be a cold platter. Surely we should have been advised prior to our arrival. No! We think this was due to us being the only guests staying! We were also charged an extra £20 pp for breakfast; which was excellent.Seems extraordinary this was not an inclusive rate. We hadn’t checked on air conditioning ( which was absent) but a fan was brought to our room which was hopeless in taking the temperature below 30c. The bathroom was unbearable as the towel rail was on and the on/ off valve was not working

Beautiful hotel, wonderful views, brilliant staff
Pros:

More like staying in a country house than a hotel. Warm, welcoming - just beautiful in every way. The staff are fantastic and the views superb. There is some noise from the road nearby, but we didn’t notice it after a little while. One of the loveliest places we have stayed in.

Comfortable, clean hotel in a great location with friendly staff
Pros:

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The location is excellent—just a short distance from the centre of Ely, making it convenient for exploring the area.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience.

Cons:

The only downside was that staff were a bit difficult to find at checkout, which caused a slight delay.
