The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Our room had a super view with nice sunsets.
The public onsen was nice but could be cleaner.

The staff is super friendly. Free drinks and snacks are provided. Common area on 7th Floor where the hot spring is located is comforting and homey.
The futon is somewhat thin, could have been thicker for better sleeping comfort. If possible, choices of coffee beans in the machine can be of better quality, the ones used are strongly bitter and not aromatic.
Nice sized & comfortable room, nice free flow of drinks in lounge on ground floor and resting lounge outside onsen.
On arrival we had booked a traditional Japanese room by mistake. Brian on the desk was very professional, friendly at time sorted this out with no fuss and no extra cost to us. We owe our comfortable stay to him.
The property was exceptionally clean quiet and a good position in town.The lounge you can sit quietly in joy a coffee or alcoholic drink and condiments for free.

The staff were so friendly! Check-in was swift and conveninent and I was also notified that they had self-service alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic beverages available within certain windows of time both at the lobby near check-in and a lounge near the public bath. Fun snacks were also provided. The breakfast buffet was not as extensive as other options we have seen in the past but there is a very clear focus on ingredients sourced from Hokkaido and specifically Shiretoko which I really appreciated. I'll say that some of the Shiretoko specific offerings were a challenge for someone with more Western tastes but I was very happy to have the opportunity to try them without needing to go to a dedicated seafood restaurant.
The onsen was hot and enjoyable. The outdoor option was fantastic and I wish I had more time to enjoy it. I could see myself being able to bird watch from the outdoor onsen in the mornings and at sunset.
Amazing staff service, free alcohol and a great onsen. Great location which makes it easy to take public transport/ reach restaurants/ pickup for tours
