Excellent for a inexpensive night prior to a flight out of Perth

Disappointing. No hot water for showers was a killer.

No hot water for showers. When I let reception know I was told I should have raised concerns with their maintenance guy - we got to the hotel at 10 pm and left the next morning around 9.30. Not sure when we would have had the time. No apologies. Just blaming me for not sorting the issue out myself.
