We chose Sanno Marracoonda for our overnight stay because it was close (sort of) to the airport and offered a free airport shuttle bus. When we arrived it was apparent it is designed primarily for FIFO workers. The units are very basic, tired and rundown and overpriced (presumably because the mining companies pay the bills).
We didn’t try the restaurant but because Sanno Marracoonda is in a pretty isolated spot it cost us about $30 in Uber fares to get to a decent pub restaurant.
In the morning we discovered that the shuttle bus to the airport only runs once a hour. We caught an Uber rather than spend 30 minutes waiting for the next bus to depart.

La proximité avec l'aéroport était ce que je cherchais avant tout car mon départ était particulièrement tôt. Le service gratiit de navette entre l'aéroport et l'hôtel est impeccable. Ponctuel. De petites attentions dans la chambre sont appréciées chocolat, apéritif...et un restaurant avec de la bonne cuisine sur place c'était parfait.
L'hôtel est plus horizontal que vertical ce qui en soit est agréable mais certaines chambres sont éloignées de la réception. Personnellement ça ne m'a pas gênée mais c'est mieux que les clients le sachent.
