The WIFI was very weak , dropping out in our room at least
Short walk into the old town, easy to find and easy parking
It's very cozy, has its own unique style, and even a small indoor terrace. I definitely recommend it. It’s about a 15–20-minute walk from the main station. There are buses that run there. If you enjoy walking, it’s a wonderful place. It’s about the same distance from here to the river, the Old Town, and the station. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel owner also stops to have a conversation with the guests. I had a great time.

The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The room was huge and very clean. Comfortable bed and furnishings.
Breakfast was a little limited, not bad, just not many options.

Due to staff shortage, breakfast was not served in the hotel.
To us that was a lame excuse.

Fabulous room, super comfortable, lovely friendly welcome, nice breakfast (vegetarian), excellent shower, safe bike storage (although not undercover), easy walk to pedestrian area, Mirabell Gardens, and bridge to Old Town. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again
The only small issue is the sliding frosted glass door in Room 105 is stiff to open at the start, then it rolls easily.

We had a wonderful stay at Bergland. The location was excellent – close enough to easily explore the city, with only around a 15-minute walk to the Old Town centre, while still offering a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere.
The standout feature of our stay was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel well looked after from the moment we arrived.
We also really appreciated the thoughtful recommendations for local restaurants and bars. It was a fantastic touch that helped us discover some great spots we may not have found otherwise and made our visit even more enjoyable.
Overall, Bergland offered great hospitality, a convenient location, and a genuinely welcoming experience. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to others visiting the area
