Toller Platz und wunderschöne Lage — aber leider schade um dieses schöne Real Estate, wenn Unterkunft, Service und Umgan
Pros:

Die Lage ist schön, aber der Aufenthalt war inakzeptabel. Für diese Preisklasse war die Unterkunft völlig unzureichend.

Bereits bei Ankunft gab es starken Feuchtigkeitsgeruch, Insekten, eine laute und tropfende Klimaanlage, wiederholte Stromausfälle und praktisch kein nutzbares Internet. Arbeiten und normale Kommunikation waren kaum möglich.

Eine wirksame Lösung wurde nicht rechtzeitig angeboten. Reagiert wurde erst, nachdem wir klargestellt hatten, dass wir unter diesen Bedingungen nicht bleiben können. Wir sind deshalb bereits nach einem Tag abgereist.

Trotz der erheblichen Mängel wurde keine Erstattung gewährt. Das empfinden wir als inakzeptabel und äußerst unprofessionell.

Eine schöne Lage allein rechtfertigt diesen Preis nicht.

Cons:

Nicht gefallen hat uns vor allem der Umgang mit den Problemen. Die Mängel wurden nicht ernsthaft und rechtzeitig gelöst, sondern erst thematisiert, als wir bereits deutlich gemacht hatten, dass wir unter diesen Bedingungen nicht bleiben können.

Enttäuschend war außerdem, dass trotz der erheblichen Beeinträchtigung und unserer frühen Abreise keine angemessene Erstattung angeboten wurde. Für eine Unterkunft dieser Preisklasse ist ein solcher Umgang mit Gästen nicht akzeptabel.

Eine pauschale Ablehnung mit „no refund“ ist bei diesen erheblichen Mängeln nicht akzeptabel.

Wir fordern die umgehende Rückerstattung von USD 7,160 für den nicht genutzten Aufenthalt vom 13.06. bis 20.06.2026 sowie zusätzlich eine angemessene Teilrückerstattung für den ersten Aufenthalt im Sundowner in Höhe von USD 5,759.25 aufgrund der erheblichen Mängel.

Die Unterkunft war in der gebuchten Qualität nicht nutzbar. Der Umgang mit unserer Beschwerde ist in dieser Preisklasse völlig unprofessionell.

Massiver Qualitätsverlust gegenüber unserem letzten Aufenthalt

Seit unserem letzten Aufenthalt hat sich die Unterkunft deutlich verschlechtert. Bei unserer nächtlichen Ankunft fiel sofort auf, dass im Wohnbereich der ersten Etage keine Klimaanlage vorhanden war. Zudem herrschte ein starker Feuchtigkeitsgeruch, und es gab zahlreiche Insekten.

Das Schlafzimmer befindet sich in der zweiten Etage und ist ausschließlich über eine Außentreppe erreichbar. Statt eines Kleiderschranks stand lediglich ein Regal zur Verfügung. Das offene Badezimmer grenzt direkt an den Schlafbereich. Die Klimaanlage war laut, verursachte permanente Geräusche und tropfte.

Besonders gravierend waren die wiederkehrenden Stromausfälle, offenbar verursacht durch eine benachbarte Straßenbaustelle und beschädigte Leitungen. Das Internet war praktisch nicht nutzbar und stand nur zeitweise für wenige Minuten zur Verfügung. Arbeiten oder eine verlässliche Kommunikation waren dadurch nicht möglich. Da auch die Kommunikation per WhatsApp ausfiel, wurde selbst die Klärung einfacher Anliegen unnötig erschwert. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrungen haben wir unseren bereits geplanten Familienaufenthalt über die Weihnachtsferien storniert.

Auch im Poolbereich war kein erkennbarer Service vorhanden. Trotz unserer Bitte um einen Wechsel in eine andere Unterkunft – nach unserem Eindruck waren kaum Gäste vor Ort – wurde dies mit dem Hinweis auf eine vollständige Auslastung abgelehnt. Konkrete Lösungsangebote oder Verbesserungsmaßnahmen erfolgten nicht.

Selbst beim ansonsten freundlichen Personal war die angespannte Situation spürbar. Wer eine abgelegene Unterkunft bucht und eine lange Anreise auf sich nimmt, muss sich zumindest auf eine funktionierende Grundversorgung verlassen können. Wiederholte Stromausfälle, die feuchte Unterkunft und eine im Vergleich zu früher deutlich schlechtere Verpflegung führten zu einer erheblichen Beeinträchtigung des Aufenthalts.

Exceptional place - we felt like we were at the whote lotus, only exception was the suspense:)
If you don’t want to leave the location for a week, this is the place to be. Sultan suite is exceptional
As is the staff
Food was varying and not always our taste - but the flexibility to find great alternatives compensated this fully. The bolognese was superb!

The the vibe, the friendliness of staff, the furniture along with the attention to small details were all what made our stay spectacular.
It offers the calm relaxing feeling you look for.

The pool was so nice to swim in, with a beautiful view over the sea.
You wont see the sun directly sinking into the water seeing during sunset, but the view is still amazing. There is also michamvi beach nearby with the perfect sunset view.
Resort offers alot of activities to do which are very fun.
And the food was so delicious. Different menu every day, and you can even customize/make special requests. The cooking was top notch.

But the highlight was definitely the staff themselves, they are professionals with the friendliest and warmest attitude. They are what really made our stay memmorable.
Highlyy recommend for a honeymoon!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Qambani. The service was excellent - friendly, attentive and just lovely. We celebrated our Honeymoon and it’s really the best place to wind down after a safari. Everything is well cared after, especially the garden. The views from the pool and the sundowner room are stunning. We loved the interior, the easy access to the beach, walks on the beach up until arriving to The Rock restaurant, the privacy and the selection of food and drinks. Especially the breakfast was prepared with utmost care. Just delicious! The best hotel on the island without any doubt.

Cons:

Depending on the tides and time of the day, swimming in the ocean is complicated. But both swimmingpools (one with saltwater) are a great alternative.

Pros:

Martin and his team took great care of us. Our flight was in the evening and Martin gave us a good late check out offer to make sure we could spend the day in the villa comfortably. Food portion was huuuge and the menu changes every day. Would be nice to have more options for starters and dessert for dinner menu. The view from our Sundowner villa was impeccable.

Cons:

The sundowner villa was recently renovated so there was some lingering smell of the renovation. The staffs sent in some natural air refreshener and it helped.

From the moment you step into Qambani, the breathtaking views of the ocean and the hotel's exclusive design leave you speechless.

The intimate hotel features private villas; we stayed in the Plantation Room with beautiful ocean and garden views, a complimentary mini-bar, a coffee machine, excellent bathroom amenities, and great air conditioning. The top-floor open space was perfect for sunsets.

The professional staff are always available, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel offers excursions, parking, and an amazing massage therapist. I enjoyed deep tissue massages on my terrace with the sounds of birds and the ocean. The food is exceptional, meeting or exceeding European standards, with fresh fruit, a diverse breakfast menu, and varied three-course dinners. The bar offers a wide variety of cocktails and wines, with the Qambani cocktail being a must-try.

Housekeeping services twice a day included beautiful flower decorations, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The property is extremely clean and pleasant to walk around. Every detail is well thought out, making Qambani the best hotel we've ever stayed at and worth every euro. Ideal for a quiet getaway, it also suits small weddings, honeymoons, and meetings.
