We had a reservation at this hotel from August 2 to August 3. Since our flight arrived in Bangkok at around 5:00 AM, we went to the hotel to ask if an early check-in was possible.

At first, we were told that early check-in was not available and that we would have to wait until 2:00 PM. A few minutes later, however, the staff changed their mind and said it was possible. Unfortunately, almost none of the staff spoke English, so every conversation had to be done through a translator. The receptionist who mainly assisted us had clearly just woken up and seemed very annoyed that someone had disturbed her.

We were offered a temporary room until our booked room was ready for an additional fee of 900 THB. We paid at the reception desk, where there is CCTV. We handed over 1,000 THB, and the receptionist gave us 100 THB in change. We clearly saw her put the 1,000 THB into her wallet before giving us the change.

Around 10:00 AM the next day, we checked out of the temporary room and moved into our reserved room.

The rooms themselves were also very disappointing. The temporary room had no windows, was dirty, and smelled strongly of mold and dampness. The second room did not smell of mold but of fresh paint. In both cases, the rooms looked nothing like the photos advertised on Booking.

The most shocking part happened afterward. Later that day, the reception staff approached us twice, asking whether anyone had returned the 900 THB to us, without explaining why they were asking. We repeatedly answered that no one had returned any money. The only money we received was the 100 THB change after paying 1,000 THB for the 900 THB room. This should all be visible on the hotel’s CCTV footage if the cameras are functioning.

When we asked for an explanation, we were simply told that the issue was “not our problem,” without any further clarification.

On August 3, just before checking out, the receptionist questioned us again.

Pros:

The hotel was alright, close to all the major shopping market and malls. The staff were friendly. The hotel was quite, not noisy.

Cons:

The room was quite small and had no windows. The shared bathroom was not as clean, especially the showers. I would definately come back but I would book a bigger room.
