Pros:

Last minute booking and was great value lovely bar and restaurant with lovely gardens perfect for our little dog to explore

Pros:

The Receotionists were very helpful and welcoming. I think this hotel is excellent value for money, in a peaceful setting. Parking was included in the price. Breakfast has a range of options. My room had a lovely view over the garden.

A pleasant hotel at a reasonable price
Pros:

The room was spacious and pleasant outlook ,grounds were lovely . staff were friendly and helpful

Cons:

Although dog friendly there were no obvious bins for waste . Also the bath/shower really need bath mats as the bath was very slippery .

It provided a nice break in our journey to the Lake District.
Pros:

Pleasant grounds in a quiet location. Furnishings in bedroom were good, with two easy chairs, and the provision of both a bath and shower was nice.

Cons:

Breakfast buffet was mediocre, and the coffee was cold. The bedroom was fairly stuffy.

Great stopover
Pros:

Lovely grounds, easy access to M6. Huge comfortable room with lovely comfortable beds and nice en suite. Comfortable bar and good food. Very dog friendly. Excellent breakfast. Great stopover travelling from Scotland to the south.

Pros:

The wedding was a great function

Cons:

There was faeces up the toilet cubicle wall and on the floor opposite the function room during the function. Our room had a horrible smell and the mattress was like a bouncy castle and we did not feel it reflected the £233 price tag for one night.
