The grounds. Plentiful parking. Nice lounge areas to sit
Over priced food and drink.Dated furniture in bedrooms. Skimping on details eg plastic flimsy glasses in rooms.
Smooth Check in and check out.

some parts of communal areas ar a little bit tired.
Excellent stay, had a top floor room which was lovely and quiet. The food in the restaurant was first rate as was the breakfast and service received from all the team during my stay. I look forward to returning.
Nothing- excellent all round
An elegant property with surrounding area
Only staying one night
Our room was superb, the outdoor area is lovely, the staff were first class and the food was good
The bathroom was a little bit tired could do with a little bit of a makeover, however I realise this is a big investment.
Quiet room well away from the wedding on that day. Spacious.
Very tired looking in places. Moth eaten carpet by settee in room. Signs of damp round windows. Asked for walk in shower but it was shower over bath. Maybe the room was not used often but was very quiet.
Location was good for a one night stop over.
Very comfortable spacious room
There was nothing to dislike
We will be back
Nice room. The staff in the restaurant for breakfast were very pleasant, as were the reception staff.
The tea and coffee facilities in the room could have been improved; the room looked tired and needed a refurb. There was only 1 fan in a large room on a hot day/evening. The breakfast was not great.
Was v clean, lovely outside seating areas, easy to park, Bar meals were of good quality and pleasant bar area.Staff were friendly.Despute a wedding event our room was v quiet.
Nice bathroom but water leaked around the shower screen.Reported it to reception..
I love the friendly feel of this hotel, nice staff, good meals

The building
Outside well looked after
Good parking
Main rooms and bar was nice
Bed wasnt the comfiest
Small bedroom, bathroom felt bigger
Price of food and drink
Bigger beds would be better but understand room small so may not be able to fit
We stayed for a wedding. Our room was lovely. Big and bright with a nice bathroom.
We stayed in the Buckingham room. No fridge and the bed wasn’t as big as I expected. Just the size of a normal double when I paid for a large double. Very uncomfortable mattress too. I woke up every time my husband turned over !
Location just right. Staff friendly and helpful. Food good.
No lift. Steps to rooms and breakfast room. Bathroom needs deep clean. Lumpy mattress.
