location, outdoors areas, breakfast
Small room, no aircon so room was hot & stuffy, our shower was under the roof slope so had to bend down to shower
The staff was amazing, especially the manager and security. The room was better than expected, too, and views of the garden top class
Nothing I highly recommend it
Nice location and good price
Was good, maybe needs a lick of paint here and there
Beautiful hotel and grounds, great location, delicious food, comfortable room and bar area, staff very helpful
Electricity kept going off, bathroom and outside of building a little worn but would still recommend
Beautifully presented, very helpful staff. Nice to see a family-owned business with the owner on the premises, and his personal involvement shows.
Both restaurant and bar menu were available until 9.30pm in the bar. The standard of the food was high.
Hotel is very well placed for Manchester airport, and to beak a long journey north, as we were doing. Would be pleased to stay there again
Great for a shorter stay, but if we were staying longer, a pool and gym would have been good to have. We would consider bringing an annual 3 day conference here, but those delegates expect a pool and gym.
CCTV in the car park would also be appreciated, plus a poo bin near the house as well as in the car park. Top marks for welcoming dogs though!
Location ... Where we needed to be with access to motorway south.
No view from window.
Spa bath did not work.
The room was huge and beds very comfortable
The bathroom was lovely with a good shower
Breakfast was ok but hot food was only lukewarm
Very disappointed with my meal in the restaurant
The bar food looked better
