Charmantes älteres Hotel mit sehr gutem Frühstück
Pros:

Wir waren auf einem Stopover im Rahmen einer Schottland-Reise für eine Nacht dort. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und charmant. Tolles full Scottish Breakfast, das wir sehr genossen haben. Das Hotel gehört zum Crieff Hydro Hotel, dessen Pool und Sauna kostenfrei mit benutzt werden kann. Dorthin sind es nur ein paar Minuten, das war sehr schön. So konnten sich die Kinder nach der langen Autofahrt noch ein bisschen auspowern. Abendessen hatten wir im Crieff Hydro in wunderbarer Atmosphäre und sehr guter Qualität. Die Zimmer waren ruhig, die Betten bequem.

Quiet and pleasant hotel stay. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Pros:

Very pleasant staff in all departments. Quiet hotel with garden areas to get outdoors. Not far from the Hydro, just a 5 minute walk.

Cons:

Breakfast let it down a little. The cooked items were good. One morning they run out of milk and had to go up to the Hyrdo, next morning no croissants left by 8:15am?? Now, they know how many they are catering for at breakfast so no excuse.
Was disappointing when I asked for a little bit of bread to dunk in my mussels to find I was charged £7:50 for it…..we ate and drank in the hotel or in the hydro for four nights and I thought it a bit off to charge me that for a slice of toasted sourdough. I buy a whole loaf for that cost.
Also a pretty foul drains smell in a corner of the dining room from a leak, they said, but it still was very pungent and unpleasant. I hope it’s being addressed asap.

Lovely room with great views across Strathearn.
Staff on reception were lovely and helpfu just as iremembered them frommy stay a couple of years ago.

Cons:

They didn't have any gluten free bread for breakfast on my first morning. Unusual and doesn't match my previous experience two years ago

Been going for many years and it still holds a wee place in our hearts .
Pros:

The staff are all superb.
Reception tean are very welcoming and helpful. Housekeeping do an amazing job.
Great shower.
Lovely towelling robes.
Shower products are really nice.
Great location, a wee stretch of the legs walking back to the hotel from the main high street .

Cons:

The mattresses are getting a bit old and sunken. The pillows are way too sparce and its like chasing a cotton wool ball through a duvet cover. Good shower products but no body lotion . No wee individual soaps.
When ordering your breakfast, be very clear and specific of what you want .
