The location was amazing, very easy to get into the city center and the park next to it was lovely. Additionally the staff was very kind and friendly. We loved the option to rent bikes for the day it was very convenient.
The only negative of the stay is the building is very poorly insulated for sound to the other rooms and the upstairs room was up all night making a lot of noise making it difficult to sleep.
Accès facile métro
Toilettes très exigues
Location
I was really disappointed with my stay. The hotel looks much nicer online than it does in person. The photos give the impression of a beautiful boutique hotel with a bespoke, bohemian feel, but the reality was very different. The building was covered in scaffolding, and the hotel itself is much smaller than it appears in the pictures.
Before my stay, the hotel had agreed to do something special for my birthday, but when I arrived, nothing had been prepared. I mentioned this to the staff, who apologized and offered me a complimentary bottle of champagne or wine instead. They told me I could collect it later since I was heading out, assuring me that someone would be available 24 hours a day and that the handover would be noted.
Getting to my room wasn’t a great experience either. There was so much construction going on that it felt unsettling, and I genuinely questioned whether guests should even be staying on that floor. My room didn’t even have a visible number, so I had to guess which door was mine. Once inside, I found the room to be extremely small with no view whatsoever. The only real positive was that the air conditioning worked well.
The biggest disappointment came the following morning when I went to collect the complimentary gift I had been promised. The staff member on duty was incredibly rude. He insisted he knew nothing about it and refused to honor what the previous staff had offered, even after I showed him the messages confirming the arrangement and explained who I had spoken to. He showed no interest in helping or resolving the issue, which left a very poor impression.
Overall, this hotel is not worth the price. Between the misleading photos, ongoing construction, tiny rooms, poor communication, and disappointing customer service, I wouldn’t recommend staying here in its current state. The lift is also incredibly small and feels quite claustrophobic.
The only real advantage is the location, which is convenient.
