Pros:

The location of the hotel was excellent. Room and bed very comfortable.

Cons:

The lack of bar facilities for a hotel in a major European capital were frankly laughable! The downstairs bar which looked nice from the outside remained shut during our three day stay. The other option was the rooftop bar which required booking to ensure a seat. Luckily the weather was good to allow us to use it on one afternoon. It was a nice area, but a limited range of drinks was available. On the day before we left, the downstairs bar remained closed, the rooftop bar was hosting a private function and the drinks fridge beside reception was inaccessible due to the key gone missing?! The hotel website boasts the bar area as being beautiful and relaxing, sadly we didn't get to experience this. For the price we paid to stay here, we believe it was most definitely not good value for money with these glaring gaps in service!

Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und sehr gut. Wir haben alles gefunden was wir wollten. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt für eine Sightseeing Tour durch Berlin. Besonders der Ausblick von der Roof-top da ist super.

Cons:

Schade war das man das Licht im Zimmer nicht richtig hell einstellen konnte, es war immer gedämmt. Insgesamt war uns das Zimmer etwas zu klein und. mit zu wenig Fläche um etwas abzulegen. Da wir allerdings die meiste Zeit in der Stadt unterwegs waren, hat es uns nicht so sehr gestört.

Typical City hotel, good location, sub standard rooms and breakfast
Pros:

The location is very good, it’s close to a variety of public transport options. The beds are comfortable, it’s clean and the staff were friendly.

Cons:

The lighting in the bedrooms and indeed throughout the property is quite dark. Our shower in room 406, was in a bath and the bath is very high, so quite a jump to get into it. There was also no shower Mat, so it was very slippy when taking a shower. The bar area is also small and limited with seats. The breakfast was just okay, but the scrambled eggs were always cold.
