The breakfast buffet and beds. The nearby 7-eleven
No air-conditioning. On the muggy, wet day we had, this was very detrimental to our stay and sleep experience.

Rooms were fairly decent in size and quite comfortable. Although the location isn't great to get to by train, it's convenient by car and the surroundings are very walkable and filled with lots of resturants to choose from.
Although the aircon controls are a bit old (buttons with off, low, medium, high). I really appreciated that in the family room the main room and tatami room had separate controls. Everyone in the family has different temperatures they prefer to sleep in and not being limited to one setting was great.
Breakfast had a really good and large selection. I'm a veggie hater but they all tasted good. There's also an egg station where someone makes fresh omelet or sunnyside eggs.
Only one pillow was provided but it was an interesting pillow that was split into 2 and foldable, where one half was bean and the other half was cotton.
Security wasn't as tight because unlike other hotels where you needed a key card to go up the elevator, you could go up without one.
On the way to the family room, there was a random step which can be annoying when you have heavy luggage to carry.
