Very enjoyable stay, hope to return next year.

Room was comfortable and clean.
Staff were great, very helpful and friendly.
Cooked breakfast was excellent, fish and chips at dinner was first class.
Early breakfast for us was accommodated.
Parking was easy.

Great location but shame about the tired appearance of the hotel interior

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfasts were very nice and it has onsite free parking which is a bonus.

Cons:

Although this is a lovely old building it is in need of a refurb and some repairs. Our room (24) felt a bit cold and damp and wallpaper was peeling off in places with some black mould above the shower in the bathroom. The bedroom curtains also didn’t meet in the middle but thankfully there was a blind as well. We struggled to get the tv to work but overall had a fairly comfortable stay
