Hidden little gem
Pros:

What a great place to stay fantastic service fantastic host, the breakfast was to die for I was walking from John o Groats to lands end. So this hotel was an exactly the right place at the right time thank you.

Cons:

This hotel is exactly what I expected to be. Not five star, but clean tidy with a very comfortable bed and a great bath. There was nothing I didn’t like about this Property.

Ideal for a welcome and comfort
Pros:

It has a touch of Victorian faded glamour. It’s well kept, clean and warm to the eye.
The staff were first class, attentive and courteous and very helpful. Could not have asked for more.
Our room was clean, well supplied with fresh towels and was comfortable.
It offers the best breakfast of our week in Scotland.

Almost there but not quite
Pros:

Room size good, bed comfortable.

Cons:

Stair carpet tape. Damp in bathroom peeling paper. General tired appearance.

It suited our needs. It broke up a long journey for us.
Pros:

It was well located. The staff were helpful. The car park was at the side of the hotel. Wide range for breakfast

Cons:

We were unable to get Wi-Fi in our room. The Wi-Fi was fine downstairs. It was quite old fashioned.

Dort würden wir auf keinen Fall noch einmal übernachten und es niemandem empfehlen
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt im Ortskern.

Cons:

Im gesamten ein sehr runter gekommenes Hotel, alles aus den 70er Jahren, Bad, Zimmer alles runter gekommen. Wir haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt vorallem ist der Preis für die Nacht unverschämt. Das Frühstück nicht vertretbar.

Pros:

Lovely man on duty at reception, he was also working in the bar and restaurant, so friendly and polite. Comfortable clean room, but the restaurant was the highlight, excellent food and wine. A great place to stay.
