Pros:

The location is simply exceptional whilst the property comfort is simply brought to basic. The room appeared clean but one should come without expectation

Cons:

PRICE and the view on the ferry boat which hopefully was gone late to clear the view on the fjord

We loved Flam, make sure to walk to "Old Flam" centre and visit the lovely little church
Pros:

From the moment we arrived we felt very looked after. A Welcome drink and then we were able to leave our bags to explore as the rooms were not ready. As requested we had rooms near each other which were both wonderful. 2 balconies each on the 3rd floor, perfect for an evening drink and people/boat watching. The view was much better once the huge cruise ship left.
The staff were all very freindly. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety to suit everyone.

Cons:

We could not find anything to fault with the hotel. It is a great shame that they allow such large cruise ships to dock which does affect the view during the day but on the days we were there they did leave in the late afternoon which completely changed the whole aspect and atmosphere of the area surrounding the hotel.

Too pricey but too cute.
Pros:

Comfy and cozy. Great location.

Cons:

Way overpriced. Rooms were tiny and with limited supplies; no washcloths, few outlets, poor lighting.

Tolle Lage, einige Mängel und viel zu teuer.
Pros:

Großes Zimmer, Blick auf den Fjord wenn gerade kein Kreuzfahrtschiff vor Anker liegt (jeden 2. Tag), kleiner Balkon (ok), Kaffeemaschine und Kühlschrank im Zimmer.
Frühstück sehr gut, Lage natürlich optimal, direkt an der Bootsanlegestelle und direkt am Bahnhof, besser geht's nicht. Fahrradverleih 200 m entfernt. (Bahnticket mit Fahrradmitnahme rechtzeitig buchen).

Cons:

Reservierung war nicht auffindbar, kein Aufzug ... 1.Stock, Klodeckel billiges Kunststoff-Teil, Löcher an der Wand (bei Garderobe, im Bad und im Wohnraum an der Decke).
Treppenhaus und Flur alter verschlissener Teppich, Kein Schreibzeug auf dem Zimmer, keine Wasserflasche auf dem Zimmer, keine Ablage in der Duschkabine.
Lagebeschreibung und Namensschilder der Restaurants verwirrend.

Uitstekend
Pros:

Wat een heerlijk warm welkom hebben we gehad. Een prachtig hotel aan een schitterend fjord. We kregen een upgrade naar een kamer met uitzicht.
We hebben enorm genoten van dit stukje paradijs.

Pros:

Very nice welcome tray with chocolates and water. Excellent breakfast. View from the balcony is amazing, so long as there isn’t a cruise ship in port. Cozy lounge area.

A great place to stay in a beautiful little town
Pros:

Our room had a balcony with a lovely view across the fjord. Breakfast was very good with a great selection. Everything was within easy walking distance of the hotel.

Cons:

There was no lift and bags had to be carried up to the room but that didn’t bother us.

The Perfect Place to Stay on a Cross-Scandinavia Journey
Pros:

This hotel was a pure delight, located centrally in the small town of Flåm. It's easy to get from the train to the fjord cruise and from cruise ships. All the details were pitch perfect to feel welcome and cozy. This is exactly what I needed and more after many city-based stays on this trip.

Cons:

Nothing was not to like for me. Everything was just right. Unfussy. Comfortable. Chic. Rustic.
