Experiencia incrivel (destaque: Café da Manhã)
Pros:

O café da manhã é incrível. Para mim, foi um dos grandes destaques. Ainda não tinha experienciado um café da manhã deste nível: panquecas, brown cheese, postas de Salmão, pasta de Caviar, muitas opções de peixes, pães deliciosos. Tudo muito bom.

Cons:

Não teve nenhum ponto que nao gostei.

Bon hôtel bien situé
Pros:

L emplacement. Central. A 2 min de la gare, des commerces, des bateaux. Très calme. Très bon petit dejeuner. Le restaurant est tb également. Très bon repas et personnel très agréable.

Cons:

La chambre n a pas été faite. Rien de grave mais.. Nous n avons vu personne, hormis la personne de l entrée pour nous donner la clé. Attention pour les personnes choisissant une chambre avec balcon côté fjord... Les immenses bateaux MSC viennent mouiller juste en face de l hotel(horrible). Ils y restent toute la journée !!!

there are better options a bit further out when travelling light

one pays a premium for the location and that's about it
we stayed in a 4-people apartment- very cramped with minimal facilities...
no socket in bathroom and ended up have to plug in the hair dryer near the balcony (this is not acceptable only when one is paying a premium rate)
there are two hotel restaurants. i expected the fine restaurants (when affiliated with a costly hotel) to be somewhat 'top-notch' (especially when requested visitors to book in advance with a regular changing menu) but the menu turns out to be quite the ordinary...

Charming hotel with lovely restaurants
Pros:

What a lovely hotel with super star staff. I had issues with a tour (nothing to do with the hotel) but Karla dd her very best to sort it out. She couldn't have been sweeter or kinder. When we arrived, she patiently dealt with moving our room with a smile. She also booked our dinners - so good. Be sure to stay here! It's charming and small- but don't wait to book. With 41 rooms it goes quickly.
Rooms: I would say that the harbor views are nicer but husband and I don't like queen sized beds (Norway simply doesn't have kings) so we wanted 2 singles which are only on the mountain side. It ended up being good because we got super lucky with sun and warm weather and our room was cool with the door open.

Comfortable hotel, very convenient for railway and has a good pub/restaurant next door for eating and drinking.
Pros:

Our bedroom was in an annexe, up some stairs but it was huge and very comfortable. It was a family room and we were only two.

Sinta a paz desse lugar, Flam é linda.
Pros:

Excelente localização, bom café da manhã. No coração de Flam um lugar incrível para sentir a paz do lugar quando os navios de cruzeiros se vão.

Beautiful Hotel and great location
Pros:

Lovely hotel. Staff were very welcoming. The room was good with lovely views of the fjord and had a double aspect balcony. We ate in the gastro pub (Viking themed) which was a great experience. We had the Viking plank with a flight of beers which was delicious. Breakfast was also good with a great selection to choose from. Wonderful hotel.

Totally unreasonable cost

Made to pay 11,000 for a 6,000 room for one night. No acknowledgement of it being grossly unreasonable. Told by manager that I should have cancelled for free 72 hours before. She will regret saying that!
