We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The villa was beautiful, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere throughout the resort was peaceful and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options and exceeded our expectations. However, we felt that the food at the Chinese restaurant could be improved. We also noticed a few issues with the cleanliness of the bathroom.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, although this means that during certain times of the day, there can be some noise from landing aircraft. Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend the hotel.
An oasis in the middle of Marrakech if you visit during sunmer. A stunning hotel with expansive rooms that provides a level of service that is second to none. The housekeeping staff particularly deserve a tip of my hat due to the attention to detail. Thank you also to our butler Ali who helped us book a venue for the Morocco vs Netherlands game.
I do wish the hotel had more options to eat at but those that existed were great. The breakfast beef tagine was so flavorful!
The best though was the spa, wow. The hammam and the massage we got for the Tangerine Delight (I can’t remember the proper name) was the best in our 3 week holiday across Morocco.

I have stayed in many of the finest hotels in the world and in my opinion this is among them the staff are fantastic and Oussama looked after us perfectly as usual we come to this hotel every year for that reason. Absolute luxury.
Super Personal - sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Villa hatte sehr viele Insekten jeden Abend und es wurden Arbeiten am Hotel durchgeführt ohne uns im vornherein zu Informieren.
This exclusive resort measures up with reams of excess joys, ones that have to be experienced to be fully appreciated. On arrival, guests are greeted with possibly the most delicious rose lemonade in the elegant setting of the hotel’s main campus lounge. We meet our butler, Yassin, who convinces us that his job is to ensure every detail of our individual preferences will be accommodated. Then begins our brief journey into the luscious oasis of tropical gardens and small private villas in one of the chauffeur driven open buggies. We arrive at the door to our home for the next week. Nestled quietly amongst the palm trees, bamboo and magenta bougainvillea are the guests’ villas. Our door opens on to a courtyard scented with orange flower, drifting and harmonising with the soft gentle lapping of water in the pool and jacuzzi, all lit with Moroccan tea lights. The air-conditioned interior, with its palace like proportions and high-quality furnishing, is immaculate and welcoming. This is a haven. This is heaven.
The staff are welcoming and polite. Nothing is too much trouble, and they genuinely want you to have more than you need. The breakfast is delicious, served by Melic who remains with us for our stay. You only have to tell Melic once how you take your coffee and how you like your eggs. He is a lovely gentle man, offering just enough of his own personality to ensure your trust but never so much as to intrude.
On day three our butler changes shift and we are greeted by Oussama. He is actually head butler and from this moment forth a text message is all we are required to send to ensures every taxi awaits us, every fresh juice appears in our room, his presence, his reassurance, his advice, remedies for stomach upsets, sincerity and humour. We’ve never experienced service like this anywhere in the world. One feels one has known Oussama from a very long time and yet he expertly maintains and protects his professionalism and consequently your privacy. This is a man with intelligence and a deft touch. If he is your butler, as he himself assures, all will be well.
Thank you Oussama for the best holiday ever and we needed it. Thank you to the quiet chamber staff who kept our villa spotless, for the gardeners who quietly look up from their flower beds to greet you with warm smiles, thank you to the buggy drivers for going the long way round because we loved the buggy rides so much, thank you to the spotless spa and the staff who delivered facials and hammams. And to the Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech *****.
One of the best, if not the best hotel, we've ever stayed in. Location outside town is perfect, beautiful grounds and 10/10 service (best we've ever had without question): of particular note was Oussama our butler. He's so good a previous guest even recorded a song about him! He made our stay.
Mellek at breakfast was also an amazing presence and enhanced our stay indescribably. We stayed in a pool villa and would recommend to anyone.
Back in London now - and it all seems a (very good) dream!
We have had a great experience. It is our fourth time we are visiting the hotel in Marrakesh. We have been very well received and wewould also like to send the special things to Ussama. He is the perfect host. Always attentive to all details
Total perfection! Just returned from a 3 night stay here as part of an 11 days holiday to Morocco and I couldn’t be more pleased with the time spent, the only problem is it wasn’t long enough. The hotel, the staff, the facilities and the villas are all perfect. I have never been made to feel so pampered before, from having our own pool and jacuzzi, to the smallest of touches like being given book marks, glasses cleaning cloths when our books and sun glasses were left out. The bicycle to move around the hotel are a great touch and we had lots of fun, visiting the hosts or just taking an evening cycle. The breakfast and service was perfect - especially Ben he was attentive and accommodating to all our requests. True luxury and when compared to other hotels we stayed it by far our shines them all! We didn’t eat there in the evening so can not comment on the Ling Ling but it was really busy each night. I did visit the spa and have a mother and daughter hammam which was really nice too, a lovely lady who put my girls at ease with the first spa treatment and gave us super shining skin! I would say that this hotel is only for people who want to relax in a quiet, peaceful area and just soak up the nature and beauty around you. Thank you also for the birthdays cake and balloons!
Absolutely stunning hotel!
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how picturesque and beautiful this hotel is. The rooms are luxurious, spacious, and impeccably maintained, while the spa facilities are truly top-tier and the perfect place to relax.
The food was exceptional throughout our stay, with every meal exceeding expectations. What really made the experience special, however, was the outstanding service. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, and a special mention must go to Oussama and Nora, who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable.
The location is ideal, close enough to everything, with most attractions just a 15–20 minute drive away. The hotel drivers were always happy to take us wherever we needed to go, making getting around effortless.
I genuinely cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Everything about our stay was fantastic, and I am already looking forward to returning.
Extremely nice villa based facilities away from the hustle of the main town but close enough if you want to venture in. The pools and architecture definitely give an impressive feel to the place. The kids facilities (including a farm!!) really made the difference for our toddler.
Osama was amazing, he took excellent care of the whole family and made our experience extremely memorable. Thanks a lot to him.
I’m a fan of the Mandarin Oriental Hotels and have stayed in quite a few of them. This was my first time at the property in Marrakesh. It absolutely blew me away. Quite simply, it’s a brilliant hotel.
The arrival experience, the views , the landscaping, the pool villa- all of it was beyond excellent. But what probably stood out most was the staff; genuinely exceptional service at every level.
The spa was another highlight. I had a session with a outstanding massage therapist who completely fixed the tension in neck and back.
The food was consistently very good. Breakfast was top class, and lunch by the pool was excellent. Quite possibly the best club sandwich I’ve ever had.
The only disappointment was LingLing restaurant by Hakkasan which felt like a total mismatch with the rest of the hotel.
The food was mediocre, the music far too loud and the portions surprisingly small and therefor the pricing felt excessive. The service itself was fine, but overall LingLIng felt slightly absurd within the context of such an elegant Manderin Oriental experience. It simply did not fit.
The hotel’s other restaurant Shirvan was excellent, with outstanding Moroccan food and strong service. It felt in harmony with the spirit and elegance of The Manderin.
One final point- and it is relatively minor one in the overall experience- is that the hotel could pay more attention to the upkeep of the villa’s , where the woodwork and paint around the private pool started peeling.
It stood out slightly because the surrounding gardens and landscaping are among the most beautiful and meticulously maintained imaginable.
With a bit more attention to detail on the villa maintenance side, the experience would be close to flawless.
As exceptional as Mandarin Oriental Marrakesh truly is, the pricing is set at such a high level that only near-perfection really fits that positioning.
And at this level of pricing, consistency becomes critical.
These comments come from a guest who enjoyed the experience enormously, and wanted to highlight a few details that deserve both attention and praise.
I will be coming back- many times !
