Nice hotel in Eixample
Pros:

Rooms were very practically designed and came with all necessary appliances etc. Nice staff. I was given a quiet room.

Cons:

Room style was rather simple for a 5 star hotel.

Ohla Eixample was Excellent!
Pros:

Great location, comfortable room, and great service. We were in Barcelona for just a few days to chill after our Mediterranean cruise. We had seen a couple of the Gaudi masterpieces before but were able to walk from this location to both Casa Mila and Casa Batllo. The front desk/concierge were very helpful. Our room was quite spacious and in the rear of the bldg. It had a strange layout, but an amazing amount of clothing storage. The pool and bar on the 9th floor roof were luxurious. Perfect way to close our European trip.

Pros:

The hotel is in an upscale section of Barcelona. There’s a large selection of restaurants, shopping, and sites. All areas of the hotel are extremely clean. The breakfast that was part of our reservation was amazing. It is not a continental breakfast. There was a large selection of food. The hotel staff is professional and friendly. Especially Igor.

Great location and breakfast
Pros:

The location of the hotel is fantastic if you like to shop. It's right off Rambla de Catalunya. The breakfast food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff there was polite and helpful.

Cons:

The room was not my favorite. I keep striking out in Barcelona when it comes to hotel rooms. The lighting in the room was very dim, even when everything was turned on. The room lacked a full length mirror, which is crazy. The shower design was awkward. I know it's a common design flaw in European hotels, but this one was very strange. You had to turn a narrow corner into the shower that of course had no door. It was quiet for the most part, but we could hear people walking in the room above us.

We loved the Ohla.
Pros:

We loved the Ohla. From the moment we arrived we had a great experience. We were early but the front desk staff were able to offer us an upgraded room and an immediate check in. Our room was large, very clean and well lit. Special thanks to Marco who helped us settle in.The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good quality with lots of choice. We asked for help in planning our days and every time the front desk team were knowledgeable and efficient. The hotel is in a great location -perfect for seeing all the sights and close to numerous great restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely wonderful
Pros:

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The staff are excellent, the rooms just perfect, we received a free upgrade which was a real treat. The rooftop pool and loungers are ideal. Lovey safe area in Barcelona, walkable to shops. Highly recommend.
