Great little hotel on the edge of Hoi an so quiet and away from the chaos of the old town but still only a 15 minute walk. The pool is small but refreshing and service is a standout. All the staff went extra mile to be helpful and make our stay as pleasant as possible. I would stay again if in Hoi An

El día que llegamos fue un poco caótico, la piscina no estaba llena y todo el patio en construcción, en nuestra habitación (3er piso) había dos murciélagos. Al avisar en la recepción otro huésped dijo que sacó 7 de su habitación y 5 el día anterior. Nos cambiaron a otra y estuvo bien. La piscina no la pudimos usar porque estaba en obras y cuando se llenó, estaba la familia de la dueña y era incómodo estar ahí ya que eran muchísimos
I had a lovely stay at Calm House - the staff were so accommodating and kind, and made me feel like part of the family while I was there! They helped with everything from moving my room so I could have a better view to organizing my transportation to help me save money. Incredibly kind and warm place!

Construction work really early in the morning without warning. Pool couldn’t be used, it was very hot and the AC was only running from 9:30-8. When asked whether they could turn on the ac earlier they said “no, 9:30” even though it was not a timer but had to be turned on manually. Lights on the bed were not working, one bed had no curtain, another had no working fan. The bathroom was rarely cleaned and the bin not emptied. Only two lockers for 8 beds. One person of the staff was sleeping in the dorm and was really annoyed by the noise of the guests.
Le personnel était adorable. Les chambres spacieuses, confortables avec la climatisation. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et la piscine était appréciable avec cette chaleur. Le personnel nous a fait de bonnes recommandations pour nos sorties. Tout est à proximité de l’hôtel. Ils proposent un service pour laver le linge et des scooter à louer.

The hotel was nice, room was large and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival and during stay.
The reason for the lower score is because, although the staff were lovely and helpful whilst we were there, nobody let us know upon booking that the entire pool and restaurant area was closed for renovation for our entire stay. This was disappointing as I booked specifically somewhere with a pool. They did agree to refund minus one night if we found somewhere else but at such short notice I couldn’t find anywhere suitable. So it’s worth calling to check the status of the construction before if you’re visiting soon!
The staff at Calm House 1 are very lovely people. Very helpful and friendly in all ways.
I was suffering from the heat in HoiAn city and decided to cut short my stay and move to a nearby beachside. Rosy and Lee the managers were very understanding and helpful. I highly recommend Calm house.
Clean and comfortable rooms with a great location — easy to get to and leave from. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and gave us great recommendations, including the coconut forest which was a highlight of our trip!

Had a great time here. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Great location. Away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk into the main hub.
Staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast so good and lots of it. Highly recommend staying here.
