Poor Experience, Deteriorating
Pros:

Location of the hotel is suitable.

Cons:

The reception experience is bad, The AC was getting on off on its own, the phone was not working, there was no sandle, the basic was having poor drain, there was only one towel. The food quality has gone down. The bowl, glass, spoon etc also not available. No one there to serve.

A very disappointing and unsettling experience

As soon as we entered the lift, we noticed a strong unpleasant smell. The reception area also smelled of toilet odour, which immediately gave us a poor impression of the hotel’s cleanliness.

Check-in was painfully slow. We also saw a staff member respond disrespectfully to a woman who was asking for a key card after returning to the hotel following a tiring day.

When we reached our room, there was no one available to help with our luggage. The room was extremely small, and the toilet felt cramped and untidy. There were stains whose source we couldn’t identify, and the bedsheets smelled musty and had several red stains.

The experience was such a shock that we decided to check out quickly. To his credit, the manager was kind enough to let us leave without charge. We later enjoyed our stay at the Pullman.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend ibis Chennai Anna Salai to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable stay.
