At our hotel, four-legged friends are very welcome! Cons:

Petits manquements comme par exemple dans la salle de bain, le manque de crochets et le manque du bec du sèche cheveux.

Schönes Hotel hoch über Ascona.
Pros:

Sehr schöne Sicht auf See und Ascona. Wir bekamen ein Upgrade und hatten ein riesiges Zimmer mit sehr grosser Terrasse im 3. Stock. Sehr bequemes, grosses Bett mit sehr weicher Bettwäsche.
Frisches Obst stand im Zimmer bereit. Gutes, reichhaltiges Frühstück mit glutenfreien Alternativen.
Schöner beheizter Aussenpool mit toller Aussicht über Ascona.
Genügend private (im Preis inbegriffene) Parkplätze beim Hotel.

Cons:

Recht teuer für 1 Nacht! Teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Sauna- und Poolbereich)

Bon accueil. Petit déjeuner avec large choix. Jolie vue et bien placé. Parking gratuit.

Cons:

Pas de bouilloire dans la chambre. Les équipements de la douche sont un peu bas de gamme par rapport au reste de la chambre.

Das Hotel ist eine komplette Enttäuschung und entspricht nicht dem erwarteten 4-Sterne-Niveau.

Achtung: Obwohl wir ein Upgrade erhielten, war das Zimmer eine riesige Enttäuschung. Die Bilder für die Zimmer, die wir auf Booking.com gesehen haben, entsprachen nicht der Realität. Das Hotel ist absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Im Zimmer hat es zudem gestunken.
Auch der Umgang mit unserer Reklamation ist äusserst enttäuschend. Die Hoteldirektion bemühte sich nicht um eine Lösung. Wir hätten zumindest eine teilweise Rückerstattung erwartet, da wir in ein anderes Hotel gewechselt haben.

Wir würden dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen.
Pros:

Zu Fuss eher mühsam weil die Strasse steil ist.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein grosses Zimmer im dritten Stock mit Balkon. Den Balkon konnten wir nicht nutzen weil das Geländer nicht sicher war. Die Absturzgefahr war uns zu gross, vor allem für unsere Hunde.

Schön aber teuer

Wir hatten für das eine Zimmer ein kostenloses Upgrade erhalten - super! Vielen Dank.
Dia Lage von dem Hotel und die Aussicht, absolut top. Das Morgenessen auf dem Balkon sehr schön.
Toller Garten.
Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden.

Allerdings gab es auch einiges, was unsere Erwartungen für den Preis nicht erfüllt hat.
Wir waren schon des öfteren in diesem Hotel und waren bis anhin immer zufrieden.
Doch bei diesem Preis, keine kostenlose Wasserflasche auf dem Zimmer, hat uns schon erstaunt.
Im Bad war der Duschvorhang zu kurz (in der Breite) so dass das Bad nass wurde und auch der Ablauf (war trotz Reklamation) verstopft.
Leider war auch kein Honig aus dem Tessin beim Morgenessen - Buffet, es gab lediglich Honig im Dösli von Hero.
Gerne hätten wir bei unserer Ankunft am Nachmittag etwas Kleines gegessen. Allerdings informierte man uns, dass die Küche geschlossen sei und es gab auch kein Eis (das war früher nicht so). Der Kellner brachte uns dann Oliven und Chips.
Das Einzelzimmer ist total ringhörig und man versteht im Zimmer jedes Worte, welches im Gang / beim Lift gesprochen wird.

Toller Aufenthalt. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Mega Aussicht tolles Frühstück und ein schöner Pool. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Im Bad wäre eine Duschkabine noch von Vorteil als nur eine Badewanne.
