Decent hotel, not the nicest location
Pros:

Staff was really nice and room was clean.

Cons:

Location was a bit bad. I don't know if this is all of Istanbul is like this but as soon as we left the doors of the hotel we were being harassed by salesmen.

Amazing Location
Pros:

The hotel is in the heart of Sulthanahmet, within a short walking distance to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Cagaloglu Hammam and many top restaurants. The rooftop restaurant offers sweeping views of the Blue Mosque the Bosporus and the Asian side. There is a very good breakfast buffet. The elevator works fine. Our room on the fourth floor had a terrace with a partial view of the Bosporus and a retractable awning, which was handy because it was very sunny and hot during our visit. The staff, in general were very friendly and helpful. We used them to arrange our airport transfers.

Cons:

My partner has mobility issues so we take Uber sometimes. Due to the limited traffic in the old city Uber couldn't pick up at the hotel. We had to walk to the corner and down a block for the pickup.

Pros:

L'ho scelto soprattutto in base alle recensioni relative alla pulizia - ed è davvero ottima - ma ho apprezzato anche le stanze ampie, tutte con comodo terrazzino e i materassi che sembrano nuovi, la terrazza per la colazione, la posizione comodissima (centralissima ma tranquilla), la gentilezza e il sorriso di tutto lo staff. Un hotel che consiglierei e dove ritornare.

Great location, Nice rooms, Great staff, Would stay again!
Pros:

The location is amazing, 5 mins from Aya Sophia and a few more mins from the Blue Mosque. The Sultan Ahmet tramline is about 10 mins walk away and is a gateway for travelling all around the city - and is relatively cheap.

The staff are really nice and down to earth...

the views from the roof terrace is great - brilliant view of Sultan Ahmed, Aya Sofia and the vessels sailing along the Bosphorus...

Cons:

It is very expensive for what you get - however the room is comfortable. But I believe this is pretty much Istanbul - it is an expensive city!

Cons:

Ремонт в зоне ресепшен и неработающий на первом этаже лифт в связи с этим.

Perfect Location in Saltanahmet
Pros:

Stayed for 4 nights in a corner room facing the sea. Worth it! Views are incredible. Comfortable bed, clean and very pleasant. Architectural post in the room made it a bit awkward but still enjoyed the room and balcony. Excellent and helpful staff. Loved the breakfast- one of my favorite things about Magnara. So much to choose from. Ate at the restaurant twice for dinner. An oasis after bustling days. Views of Blue Mosque and rooftops is just breathtaking. Highly recommend.

Pros:

It was quite the perfect location. Terrific views of the water, Haugh Sophia & Blue Mosques from the rooftop. A block and a half from the park, fountain, and lots of places to eat. Very attentive staff. Impressive food. I would stay again.

Cons:

We were there the first week they engaged the AC for the season. They had a circuit breaker issue that kept tripping off the AC. Unfortunately, they were unable to have it serviced during our week stay. It was a situation that was really no ones fault, I assume. Hopefully it is not always an issue.

Wonderful place to Stay
Pros:

We visited Istanbul for the first time and chose The Magnaura Palace Hotel as our base in the older section of Istanbul. Absolutely the correct decision.
Once you get oriented to the area you realize the hotel is perfectly located. And the hotel is charming, comfortable and the team are great. Our room had a small balcony with a view to the Bosphorus=great. The dining area had wonderful views as well.
All in, a special place to stay in Istanbul.

Idealer Standort für eine Istanbul-Besichtigung
Pros:

Die Lage ist Spitze, die Blaue Moschee und die Hagia Sophia praktisch ums Eck, viele andere Sehenswürdigkeiten in fußläufiger Entfernung und die nächste Tramstation auch nicht weit weg. Das Restaurant auf der Dachterrasse sowie der Frühstücksraum bieten eine traumhafte Aussicht über den Bosporus und lassen auch kulinarisch keine Wünsche offen.Das Personal war durchwegs sehr sehr freundlich, wobei Nursi an der Rezeption mit seinen ausgezeichneten Englischkenntnissen als ganz besonders hilfsbereit und herzlich hervorzuheben ist. Ihm verdanken wir viele nützliche Tipps und Reservierungen!

Cons:

Das Zimmer war recht klein, eine Garderobe und mehr Ablagefläche im Bad wären fein gewesen.

Pros:

Posizione ottima ! Pulizia decisamente soddisfacente. Colazione ovviamente non tipica italiana ma devo dire ampia , dolci tipici e tanto salato. Staff disponibile ed educato.

Cons:

Ristorante più che buono! Peccato che sui costi ci giocano un po'. Espresso 7 euro mi sembra un tantino esagerato , offrono il dolce ma alla fine te lo paghi . Però camerieri attenti
