The overall dtay was excellent

The suite in the Soco Tower was spacious and clean and the King Bed was excellent and comfortable.

Cousins Trip to Celebrate Birthdays
Pros:

It was very disappointing to go to the pool on my birthday, June 10th to be told that the pool bar was closed and there would be no way to get food or beverages. This was the primary reason I booked at Harrahs Cherokee. Also, there was Bingo advertised, only to find out that the facility was closed permanently. This too was on our planned agenda.

Facility was excellent, casino was beautiful. Like a whole downtown in one resort

The woman during check in was extremely rude, gave me the randomly WORST room available. A smokers room. The room had two beds.. that's it. No dresser, one tiny table and a smokers room had burned cigarette butts on the lamp shade. Smelled like smoke and we DON'T SMOKE. We were there for a whole week and they didn't even reach out to us to get it changed. We started having sleeping problems because of the lingering cigarette smoke smell. Had to use spray to attempt to freshen the room. Horrible experience for a non smoker.

Pros:

I recently stayed in the Soco Tower and overall had a very enjoyable experience. The room was comfortable, clean, and the resort offers a tremendous amount of amenities and entertainment. I do have a few suggestions that could improve the guest experience.
- Add USB charging ports in the guest rooms in addition to the standard electrical outlets. Many travelers rely on USB charging and would appreciate the convenience.
- Consider replacing the wall-mounted hair dryers with portable hair dryers. This would allow on guest to get ready outside the bathroom while another is using the shower, making it easier for couples and families sharing a room.
- Provide non-slip safety mates for the shower floor to help prevent slips and falls.
- Install interactive kiosks with the hotel and casino maps throughout the property. The resort is impressively large, but I found myself getting lost several times and becoming turned around. I don't usually have trouble navigating large properties, so additional wayfinding tools would be extremely helpful for guest.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would return. These suggestions are simply intended to make an already impressive resort even better.
