There is no sea view. The balcony faces a torn down building that is being rebuilt. To see the mountain yoy have to crawl on kitchen countertop. The apartment management was supposed to refund me €125. for false advertising on view. It was pending in my account for 5 days then it fell off and was not refunded. If you are looking for location then this is a yes. If your decision is based on view at all please pass.
Location is excellent.
Kitchen and bath wonderful.
The automatic light in the bathroom was very annoying at night.
The apartment itself was spacious and clean.
Someone broke the window and stole all of our things. We were on the ground floor and came back from an excursion to find the window broken and all of our belongings in disarray. All of our electronics and valuables were stolen. We called the police who have been extremely unhelpful. The hotel moved us to the 2nd floor after I told them we were uncomfortable staying in the apartment with a broken window. They have since been unhelpful with any follow-ups about the investigation or the cctv footage. There was a camera right outside and it has been a month yet nothing has been said. Overall this was just a very bad experience. You would assume Iceland was a safe country. I've traveled all over and in countries deemed unsafe but it's hilarious that Iceland was the first place I was robbed and met with incredibly unhelpful people.
In the heart of Reykjavik, safe, warm, and comfortable. Private and quiet. Good, clean amenities. Lovely shower. Easy parking if you’re happy to foot the bill.
Dirty fitted sheet on the fold out bed, with no alternatives but to use it. We found it confusing to find the place as it is “inside” the block of buildings, rather than situated on the more accessible/obvious streets. Also meant the view out the window was of the back of another building.
The owners messed up our booking and allocated us a gloomy basement apartment with windows looking up to a car park instead of the premium apartment on the upper
floor with views which we’d paid for. Substitute apartments in other blocks didn’t suit us and as there was no refund offered on the price difference , we cancelled with Booking.com and stayed elsewhere.
The apartment wasn’t the one we booked.
location, easy check-in, easy communication, big windows, natural light, balcony, spacious, cleaning staff, virtual guide with instructions and info about the apartment, early check-in when available
poor ventilation, no thermostat to control temperature, bathroom is very humid and smells terrible, kitchen area has mold growing in the ceiling top right corner. i wouldn't stay here May - October due to poor ventilation and no air flow, even with windows open.
Close to everywhere, short walk to Rainbow Street, 5 minutes to Harpa, 2 minutes to Lebowski -if you know you know- short taxi ride from Flybus terminal. 15-20 minute walk to Perlan and Valur football stadium. Both well worth the walk
Nothing!

clean and well maintained and convenient, bathroom was great
no parking
Though a great location, the access was very challenged. The directions were not clear so entry into a key coded system was very challenging indeed. We apartment was as well appointed as we needed.
Better directions for entry, more than one pillow per bed. Optional bedding to allow for the sleeper couch to be used. No one to help directly--everything was through chat making it more difficult.
