Excellent room and location, friendly staff and the hotels amenities are top notch.
Pros:

Excellent service from start to finish. We stayed 4 nights and they upgraded our room to their biggest and best which was excellent. We received welcome treats and leaving chocolates. Laundry was done quickly and the room came with sparking and still water in the fridge. The coffee machine was great and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Pros:

Außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, super gut gelegen, sauber. Ich habe gar nichts auszusetzen und das will was heißen. Ich werde wieder dort nächtigen, wenn ich nach Lisboa fliege.

Cons:

Vielleicht dass ich um Mitternacht noch einen Schlummer Drink hätte nehmen können

We genuinely loved it and would come back.
Pros:

Lots of gifts. My 2 yr old received a teddy bear. One night we received wine. Next night we received chocolates.

Cons:

We could have used another room key. Only one key was issued. That’s was an inconvenience.

Perfect old-European ambiance, Perfect location, Perfect staff!
Pros:

The staff was professional, helpful, and extremely accommodating. We loved the location and room was extremely comfortable. We will be back! The front desk is 24 hours so there is always someone there to help you. They helped us plan our day trips to Porto and Sintra.

Pros:

They respond so quickly to issues you have about the room. Because we had no AC and could not open the windows, the hotel upgraded us to a wonderful suite

Cons:

Not much. Maybe no amenities such as shower cap. No vanity kits available

Great hotel, great people, great location!
Everything (almost) about the hotel was terrific. Our room was nice and large with a refrigerator, some dishes & utensils and dishwasher. New bottles of still and sparkling water and a great coffee machine- at no additional cost!
Very comfortable bed and pillows, great bed linens. The bathroom was roomy but the shower splashes water onto the bathroom floor.
We liked the restaurant- good food, great breakfast and very nice staff.
The front desk staff couldn't have been kinder or more helpful in finding good restaurants and other touring tips. We even traded recipes with Diogo for his family's fish dishes and our homemade pretzels.
The only issue was that the hotel was having problems with their air conditioning that was being repaired while we were there.

Nice place but short on boutique. Problems happen how you address it makes the difference
Pros:

Stayed here 3 days and the entire time the AC was out. While I get problems happen you would think they would work to get you fans or something to help the situation….short answer no. Front desk was ineffective and apparently the manager is on vacation so the whole system is broken (message to owner). No one is empowered or really cared, that is what bothered me the most being a boutique hotel. With 28 rooms you better offer solutions.
On the good side, food and staff were very good. Can’t say I recommend because how poorly pseudo management handled the situation. You bring in fans people.

Great stay and close to everything.
Pros:

Beautiful and posh with an excellent location. They left us pastries in our room the first night they were delicious. Too not h customer service.
