The room was clean and comfortable and both it and the bathroom were in excellent condition. There was also a decent fan provided which was very welcome in the heat wave that was occurring.
Breakfast was well presented in a lovely, spacious room and was a really nice Continental.
I also had dinner in the Bar the night I arrived and the pizza was excellent.
Staff were both welcoming and friendly as well as efficient and very upbeat.

We travelled during the hot weather and room was very warm
The room was ok, size wise. Bed was comfy. We appreciated the fan, although we would've preffered air con. Staff friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast was not great, we eat healthy and didnt have a lot of options, no veggies, you could boil eggs but 9 mins was a lot. There were croissants, jam and muesli options which we didnt like. Just one option of cheese and salami which we didnt like. We've had a bit of plain yogurt, (frozen) forest fruits and seeds. Coffee was really good though. Would be nice if at least the eggs are already boiled and have 2 options for cheese and ham plus 2 for veggies.
The staff were delightful, happy and helpful at all times. The complimentary continental breakfast was also a bonus.
Hotel is in a great location, just a short stroll down the hill into town with a good selection of restaurants and bars on the way.
The biggest issue was the room had no shower! Just a bath. Totally unacceptable in this day and age and no mention of this in the room description when booking. The bedroom itself was ok, had been renovated to a degree but still had an old small plasma TV and an ill fitting, budget blind in the window which let through heaps of light, so expect to be woken early when sunny. No aircon of course being the current standard for the UK.

The staff were really lovely and from arrival brought our luggage to our room. check in was smooth and easy. the room was very clean and so was the bathroom. I'm a clean freak so I notice when things aren't spotless! Bed was very very comfortable, I had a wonderful night's sleep (and usually I dont sleep well so this was a big bonus!). Breakfast was great there was a big selection available. I'm not sure if the croissants are baked fresh everyday as there were some left out the evening before (and I dont know if they were cleared away the next morning or not), but other than that everything else looked good. You could also request extra things or a small charge from the menu so they really accommodated everything. it was a short trip but I wish I extended my stay even longer.

Very satisfied with the hotel, breakfast was fine, location good for city centre and staff very pleasant. Plenty of free, accessible parking which is always a bonus.
Perhaps a wardrobe in our room, rather than a rail. We only stayed two nights but if staying for a week may have needed more storage.
Room was large, bed was comfortable, bus stop right outside, easy walk to downtown and other areas. We would stay here again!
