Fourth stay in this lovely hotel in excellent location
Pros:

Family Room is super and on the ground floor you are able to sit outside your patio doors. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with good choices.

Cons:

Liked everything

Friendly staff, convenient location but a bit dated
Pros:

Friendly staff, they were lovely

Cons:

Apparently refurbished but was dated and some communal carpets were quite thin. Breakfast had limited options and not great quality (I did enjoy the tinned tomatoes though that you don’t often get in places!) (we paid separately not part of a package)

Just glad they accept dogs and are inexpensive
Pros:

Location great. Hotel tired in a lot of places and needs money spending on it but overall good value for money.

Cons:

Just needs updating eg carpets in rooms and windows (old rusty handles).

Whitecliff Bay is mentioned but if you have e dog then Yaverland is the best beach for dig walking/playing/swimming on the island. Another reason I have stayed at this hotel 5 times and Yaverland only 3 minutes in the car

Not the best, probably find somewhere else.
Pros:

Properties a very nice looking building. Late night entertainment.

Cons:

Beds are terrible, woke up 2 nights with severe back pain. Had to ask for a second pillow since there wasn’t one in the room. No fridge, room was quite small. No table as per the image. Being the youngest couple here we got some funny looks off the manager. Parking is terrible as they park 4 of their coaches in the middle of the car park. Over 100 rooms and parking for about 15 cars. Doors are very thin and only have Yale locks. Rattles in the wind. You can hear everything in the hall way since doors are so thin and not tight fitting like more upper class hotels. Couldn’t find pool table. Rooms are very dated. Plugs behind the bed prevented being able to charge your phone on the side of the bed. No phone in the room. Overall this hotel needs a make over.

Great value for money - you’ll be surprised how good it is!
Pros:

Surprisingly good for the price. Comfortable room, great facilities, lovely staff.

Cons:

It was a warm weekend, AC in the rooms would have been nice but for how much we paid, not a big deal.

Relaxing place to come back to after windy days
Pros:

We came last year and decided to return, felt at home here. Lovely garden to sit in, comfortable, clean room, although there were coach parties there and entertainment in the bar the noise didn’t travel upstairs. The lift was working. The staff were really nice.

It was ok but we will not be staying there anymore. I am disabled but I felt that they could have done better.
Pros:

We stayed at the hotel about 12 years ago and it was amazing. We decided to stay again but the hotel looked tiered, the sitting area was ok but the seating was dated and worn, the entertainment was awful. Seemed to cater for the older generation with I am part of.

Cons:

We felt the property needs updating. The bedrooms were clean and tidy but again needed updating. The yard where the swimming pool once was, was shabby with dog ends on the floor. The gardens also were not as good as before.
