An excellent family-owned (and run) hotel at the western end of the Altstadt.
Pros:

We chose this hotel for its location - in the Altstadt and yet close to Heidelberg Hbf for easy access to DB trains. Our choice proved to be excellent!

This hotel is a family-run business of a smallish hotel operating to very high standards. The hotel's ambiance - whether in the guest rooms or the reception area (where breakfast is also laid out) - was wonderful. For our first two nights there were only a few guests staying - breakfast was therefore a very pleasant, relaxing and peaceful event. The range of food provided was very good.

There were numerous shops and restaurants on the Hauptstrasse lying to the east of the hotel and right up to the Marktplatz and the Kornmarket.

Our bed was extremely comfortable.

The WiFi worked well.

There was a very large electronic security box (securely bolted to the wall).

All the staff were helpful - we would particularly like to praise the help and information from Niccolette at reception on our arrival (and thereafter during our stay) - many thanks, Niccolette!!

Wir waren zum shopping hier für eine Nacht. Die Lage ist perfekt.
Pros:

Alles war perfekt, bequemes Bett, perfekte Lage, super sauber, perfekter Wasserdruck unter der Dusche. Sehr ruhig Nachts ohne Lärm, Klimaanlage im Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Es gibt absolut nichts zu meckern.

so im großen und im ganzen sehr gut .

Cons:

Naja ich hab ja schon nicht nur das normale zimmer gebucht sonder schon ein bisschen mehr und ganz ehrlich gesagt hab ich mir das zimmer größer vorgestellt und nicht so wie ein normales. Wenn ich schon ein besseres zimmer buche erwarte ich dich ein bisschen mehr und nicht nur ein normales zimmer.

Prima verblijf zeer vriendelijk personeel accomodatie prima locatie erg centraal in centrum.
Pros:

Het ontbijt was goed maar wel prijzig met 20 euro pp. Daar wek je wel verwachtingen mee.

Cons:

Ontbijt werd helaas niet goed bijgehouden. Men was niet scherp op aanvullen broodjes eieren enz. Kan beter.

Would have liked to have made tea in the room.
City taxes had to be paid on top of our prepaid room. Prepaid 6 months prior. This was not entirely clear and should like every other hotel we booked with booking.com included in the price. Hence our confusion.

Frühstück war gut, Lage war gut

Cons:

Zimmer war klein , Bad war extrem klein , Ankleiden im Bad fast nicht möglich, Ausstattung des Zimmers spartanisch.
Preis-Leistung Verhältnis sehr schlecht.
