Good location and price
Pros:

Great location and price. Bed was small but comfortable

Cons:

Room smelt awful and radiator had a leak

Not Very Grand Hotel
Pros:

Leaving.

Cons:

Reception miserable.
Attic room with very small single beds.
Very slow shower with luke warm water , although there are signs BEWARE HOT WATER.
You couldn't open the windows properly(old sash windows).
87 steps to the room (counted) up 3 flights of stairs made harder by the lift out of order .
Overall appearance shabby and musty.

Very good location close to everything you need. Room was very large in size and was very clean.

Cons:

Having to pay quite alot for parking in the hotel car park while your staying g in that hotel is very bad.

Great location, and staff were great

Cons:

Stinky, mouldy bathroom, really tired decor. Iron i borred leaked all over my shirt.
The toilet roll holder was full of poppy water and the shower was mouldy. Gross dirty carpet.

About what I expected for the money
Cons:

Ilfracombe looks to be struggling like a lot of coastal towns. The hotel is not at its best but investment must be difficult.

Breakfast only started at 0800 which isn't convenient if you have to catch a bus, train or boat.

Good enough, but wouldn’t return
Pros:

Location was good, although parts of ilfracombe have really gone down hill. Other towns in the South of England are much nicer.

Staff were lovely.

Cons:

Not the cleanest and quite dated. Photos make it look nicer than it is. Parking is very limited but not bad.

I will never stay there again the most stink and a horrible Hotel
Pros:

Nothing special … very bad the room very smelly horrible decoration carpet stain and a stink smell
No Parking very hard to find a car park, especially you’re staying in the hotel and providing a parking spot

Everything is horrible in this hotel
