L’hotel est bien situé, proche du centre, proche de la plage.
Le personnel est courtois.

Cons:

L’hotel a besoin d’une rénovation totale, bien qu’il est du potentiel il n'est pas entretenu.
Peinture craquelée, odeur d’égout, moquette tachée, ménage très minimal, et pas d’eau chaude le soir de mon arrivée.

Really enjoyed St Ives and this location.
Pros:

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. There is parking!

Cons:

It needs a major refurbishment. It is quaint but needs some love. The room was rather hot and airless despite the small fan provided.

Honestly for the price it's fantastic. I saw a lot of comments moaning about the carpets etc... but you are paying as little as £60 a night for a hotel room in the middle of st Ives.

Yes the carpets have seen better days, but if you want to take a place with nice carpets you can do so and pay 3x the price. Otherwise stop moaning and get on with it !

Pros:

The hotel, despite fairly dated is being maintained very clean. The bathrooms are updated and the rooms overall comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection of full English and some continental choices.

Cons:

The room was a bit tight and on a hot day too warm despite cooling tower fan in operation.
The pillows were too hard.
The coffee could be better and more fruit and some yogurt for the later guests would add healthy options.
