An oasis in the straight.
Pros:

Nice setting compared to other options in town; view of turquoise water and moored boas was nice. It's a remote setting; we were provided with a generous continental breakfast for the cook's day off. Appreciated being collected from the airport and the offer to be taken to the ferry although we walked the short distance. garden and swimming pool was welcoming.

Cons:

Sandfly welcome was not appreciated, beware of the little mongrels by the water edge. Food and drinks ($10.20 stubby) were ok but expensive though we should have expected that in a remote location.

Pros:

THE STAFF IN PARTICULAR ARE GREAT. FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE TO THEIR JOB. THE DINING ROOM IS ALSO A GOOD FEATURE OF THIS PROPERTY WITH GREAT MEALS

I enjoy every bit of my stay,, I love the comfort, except the room preparation, is taking longer

I really enjoy my stay in the comfort room,the breakfast was fantastic, and most of all, the staff are really friendly and helpful to me

That I had a choice to wait to 30mins for the Quantas flights to come in from Cairns if there was any passengers.
