The bathroom, it is not such a good idea to have a bathroom from glass, all sort of noises could be heard from outside

Location was great for where we needed to be. Extremely quiet!
The breakfast
My wife and I stayed at your hotel from 25 April to 10 May 2026 (initial booking 25 Apr – 4 May, extended stay 4 – 10 May) while visiting our daughter who lived nearby. Unfortunately, several incidents during our stay left us disappointed and hesitant to consider returning to your hotel in the future:
• Check-in (25 Apr): At arrival, the front desk staff queried and challenged whether our room allowed two guests, simply because our daughter was present to help with luggage. The manner felt accusatory rather than polite.
• Extension inquiry (28 or 29 Apr): When I asked about how can I get the best rate for extending our stay, the staff member (Rafter) requested unnecessary details (e.g. my name, room number, booking channel, etc.) and then told me to “come again later when there is less people,” which wasted my time and I felt dismissive. Or he could just directly answer me with his best knowledge in short. (e.g. online booking, contact your reservation department (if any), etc.)
• Umbrella borrowing (4 May): I borrowed an umbrella from your staff (Rafter) around 1200 noon and returned it to him the same day at 4pm, even taking a photo as proof. However, the return was not recorded, leading to a mistaken penalty charge at checkout.
• Scale borrowing (9 May): When requesting a scale to weigh luggage, the same staff member (Rafter) implied guests might “steal” it. Despite assurances that the hotel had CCTV, my bank card and records and could late-charge me at any time. I was made to feel distrusted.
• Checkout (10 May): The umbrella issue resurfaced, but after I provided evidence, the penalty was waived. Your staff also counted the total number of umbrella and confirmed there was no missing. This confirmed that staff (Rafter) failed to record the return properly on 4 May.
Across our 15-night stay, nearly every interaction at reception left us feeling treated as potential wrongdoers or thieves rather than normal hotel guests. This was deeply disappointing.
The property is in a good location close to the train station and shops, restaurants and also Macquarie University if you’re having something happening there.
