Great location, good size unit with lovely beach view, very clean and comfortable.
Pros:

The view of the ocean was great. We didn’t get a chance to walk this beach but it was definitely accessible. The room was a good size, nice size bathroom, lots of towels, great kitchen, overall very pleased. Location was great too. The owners communicated with us to make sure we knew where to pick up our keys as we were a late arrival.
Definitely would stay here again.

A pleasant motel for a short stay
Pros:

Our accommodation was well equipped and we were provided with a good supply of towels.
The location - beach frontage, looking across the water, - was nice and quiet, despite being on a fairly busy road. The bed and pillows were really comfortable, and I slept really well here (I'm not normally a good sleeper).
There are two places to eat nearby, within walking distance - The Blackbird, just across the road; and the Shady Rest, a pub/restaurant with an outdoor dining area looking across the water.
I would recommend first floor accommodation as it has a balcony with table and chairs. We were on the ground floor and didn't have that (though there is a communal decked area with table and chairs), also you won't hear people clomping about above you and moving furniture around.

Cons:

Accommodation is a bit dated.
Tiny tablets of soap for washing (would prefer shower gel), and ultra thin toilet paper.
The window blinds let in alot of light so I needed a sleep mask so it wasn't too bright in the morning.

Had a great stay, loved the room, and loved the beach right at my door.

Pros:

It was he best place we stayed at on Vancouver Island. So serene at the ocean, right in front of our room. We did not want to go to a restaurant; as BBq'ing seafood and steak, and sitting at ocean side for our sunset dinner was the best!!! The room had all we needed in the kitchen; ie, pots, pans, dish rack, detergent, utensils, blender, and more. Wished we could have stayed longer...next time!

Pros:

Great views. Great hosts, very accommodating. The room was spotless. Quiet, peaceful. The perfect spot to relax and walk the beach.

Pros:

The place itself was great. Cozy, with well equipped kitchen and an amazing view.

Cons:

The check-out in the morning is at 11AM and when you leave, you are supposed to leave the keys in a box in front of the office. My partner had to leave early in the morning, way before me. I then got a knock on the door at 9:30 - the manager asking if I’m still there. 1 hour later, a cleaning staff unlocked the door as they also thought the suite was empty. While I understand their thinking, it made the morning unnecessarily uncomfortable, and made me feel like I should just pack up and leave despite honouring the check out time and instructions.

Good motel on the beach

Great location, right on the beach a few kilometres from the centre. Handy to have a kitchenette. Good outdoor communal furniture facing the water.
