Would stay again.
Pros:

Great bathroom. Breakfast very good. Interesting to walk through the WWl ruins. Staff very friendly. Plenty of parking.

Cons:

We didn’t get our air conditioner on the first day.
Mention to staff and they immediately had it going.

Lovely hotel but lots of mosquitoes 😞
Pros:

Beautiful hotel. Great location and lovely dinner and breakfast although not a huge choice on the menu for an evening meal which you need to order before 8pm. The grounds have the remains of a trench system and bunkers which was very interesting to see.

Cons:

We stayed in room 24 opposite the pond, which was a result of 4 mine craters and unfortunately both my husband and I had to spend the night with quite a few mosquitoes which kept us awake and it was also incredibly hot. I’ve counted at least 20 big bites! A very unpleasant experience so I would suggest making sure you have some repellent if you’re going to stay here!

Good food, good beer and pleasant clean rooms.
Pros:

Very clean room, nice food in the restaurant, bar with quality wine and beers which you could drink outside enjoying the sunshine. As for location, set in its own grounds with remains of WW1 trench network and bunkers, just a short drive to centre of Ypres.

Ok but not what was expected
Pros:

staff where helpful breakfast was ok
When restaurant was open food was realy good

Cons:

Bad smell in rooms like sewers
No restaurant from Friday to Monday
Nowhere close to walk to for evening meal
But when restaurant was open food was good
Rooms where not in hotel but in a separate building more like a student accommodation with common room to make your own food which other guests have access to

Pros:

Great location, especially having the WWI tunnels in the gardens and the proximity to the Hooge crater museum. We ate at the hotel on Thursday evening and the food was excellent. Staff were always very friendly.

Cons:

Room was a little dated but was clean and bed was comfortable. Was very pleased to have a bath but it was narrow.
