Pros:

Badkamer zeer proper. Locatie was voor ons goede uitvalsbasis. Ontbijt was meer dan in orde: meer dan voldoende keuze en werd constant aangevuld.

Cons:

Ik had 3 eenpersoonsbedden gevraagd bij de boeking. Ik kreeg de melding dat dit in orde zou zijn. Bij aankomst bleek dit niet in orde. Ik heb er echter niets van gezegd daar het een "luxeprobleem" betreft. De kinderen hebben goed geslapen.

Ideal for those interested in WW1 - it is right on the front line
Pros:

This is a slightly quirky and characterful hotel, definitely not part of a chain. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. It is situated nearly 3 miles from Ypres, however there is an hourly bus into town from a nearby stop and the walk to and from Ypres is quite pleasant.

Cons:

There was no mesh or grille covering the breakfast items from flies. No aircon in the room, though the window blinds and shutters kept the room reasonably cool

Een goed verblijf voor ons doel.
Pros:

Locatie was perfect voor ons doel van de reis. Slaapkamer was perfect. Grote badkamer met grote douche. Bedden waren prima.

Easy en route location. Nice staff and food. A lovely experience, thank you 🙏
Pros:

Lovely old building and garden. Quirky here and there, all part of the joy of travel which we love. Convenient location. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Good home cooking. Mosquito netting on the window because of the pond. The room was hot and sleeping was tricky. We stayed during the heatwave. When we got back to UK our house was even hotter so I can't complain!
