Friendly staff, lovely room, great food
Our room was directly above the bar which meant some noise until midnight, though it did stop at that time
Beautiful hotel. Amazing staff. Situated close to beach and st ives. Our room was perfect with the most incredible views. Added bonus being able to use carbis bay facilities
Comfy Super King/Twin Bed with good mattress. Location was great for bus to St Ives or anywhere around the area. Walk to the beach is downhill 15min and was great. Parking wasn't a problem.
Shout out to the super friendly staff that had accommodations for some extras we needed!
During heatwave the window could only be opened an inch or so, which made sleeping hard. Fan was provided but was assembled incorrectly, once taken apart and back together it actually got some airflow and we tried getting cold air in overnight.

Lovely location. Short walk down hill to the Carbis beach hotel. Great being able to book a 4 hour slot in the Carbis beach hotel pool and spa. Breakfast was lovely. Ample parking. Staff friendly. We were able to check in early which was a bonus. The bed was really comfortable.
The only thing was the windows didn’t open much which made the room quite warm at night. We think this was due to being in a room without a view.

De faciliteiten in de Spa die we mochten gebruiken in het Carbis Bay Hotel was leuk meegenomen.
Het derde bed voor onze 16-jarige dochter was ondermaats, een matras gelegd op een vuile oude matras, zonder bed, zonder lattenbodem.
Het vasttapijt in de kamer had vlekken.
De kok in de open keuken tijdens het ontbijt op de tweede dag was arrogant.

Great location and staff were amazing.
Close to carbis bay. Food was amazing. Staff were brilliant. Also great access to the sister hotel spa.
Food in the restaurant was super. Polite and helpful staff. Room was spacious and airy.
No air conditioning in bedroom which would have been helpful in the summer months. The climb up a narrow stairs case to the second floor carrying luggage (no lift) was a challenge.
We dined 4/8/26. my wife had the goats cheese mousse which was small and underwhelming, the toast was as hard as a rock, completely inedible. I had prawn cocktail which contained 4 prawns in a jar, very odd, neither course was worth the money. My wife then had chicken stroganoff, which was very average and still not sure what a vol-au-vent case was doing on the plate. I had duck which was cooked very well, juicy and pink, still don't understand the floppy pancake on the plate. Over-rated and over-priced. We came here 2 years ago and had a lovely meal, this time was very poor and will not be returning
