as usual excellent accommodation, well kept. friendly staff, prices great for the nights we stayed
Pros:

Decided not to have breakfast this time, as we were eating out with family and friends, Rooms were excellent as usual, the only downside I would say is that the bar closed too early.

Cons:

Bar closing early

Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Pros:

Cons:

Das Wetter😉

A very obliging team of staff who respond well to any special requests in a cheerful way .
Pros:

After reading g reviews we were expecting tired bed rooms. That was certainly not our experience as the rooms were very comfortable and bathrooms fresh.

Cons:

The breakfast dining room is stark and uninviting. A change in lighting and pictures would help to create a better ambience.

Beautiful, as always
Pros:

Our second stay here as we so loved the first. Staff are friendly and accommodating, and all we met were from the area so could talk to them about the local spots. Food was really nice and the bedroom / bathroom were beautiful. Great night's sleep.

Cons:

Limited parking, but old buildings aren't built for being a multi storey!

Historic gem
Pros:

Nice big comfy rooms. Great value for money.

Cons:

The place needs some tlc from the owners e.g lick.of paint, plaster work.(not jazzed up) The main entrance is still being repaired after a year. Accessibility ramp is required. Food is good but a bit pricey and could be more varied. A few restaurants have closed in the town. An improved menu could.bring in lunch customers. The hotel.is run by a very good but what seems to be limited team.of staff, who appear to be left by bespoke hotels, to just get on with it. This hotel is a popular gem, particularly with people on the west coast taking holidays. Bespoke need to nurture that to maintain and build customers.

It was pleasant enough but won’t be rushing back. On leaving was given an amount for food etc due but no itemised bill s
Pros:

I liked the old fashioned layout and food and drinks were good.

Cons:

I had a family room with my granddaughter and niece which was pleasant with lovely views. My sons’s double room wasn’t very clean lots of marks on carpets and a dog poo bag lying outside the window. Very off putting. Windows very dirty as well.

Grandhotel- Charme vergangener Jahrhunderte
Pros:

Average
Pros:

Views are amazing

Cons:

Old and needs refurbished. Superior rooms with sea views have had a cheap upgrade. Bathrooms are miniscule!
Beware of the numerous Bus parties going to breakfast it becomes tiresome every morning waiting in long queues to get food.

A nice stay but the place needs a revamp
Pros:

Great location, food was tasty and staff friendly and helpful

Cons:

The hotel is rather tired and in need of a revamp. The bathroom was pretty small and the room decor was a bit shoddy. The paintwork needs doing.

Room For Improvement
Pros:

Location was lovely and staff were really friendly.

Cons:

The bathroom was elevated and just weird and noisy from the adjoining room. A games room would be a positive addition especially when it is raining and have children to entertain.. Parking is a nightmare. Wifi was poor. No literature or information provided in the room.
