Comfy bed with crisp white sheets. Clean room and bathroom. Tv and coffee facilities. Great value. Pleasant staff keen to help. Right on seafront.
Windows in serious need of cleaning on the outside. Could use a lamp instead of big main light. No eateries or shops nearby so have to walk into town.
Location
Rundown, dirty , not at all like the pictures on internet . Some of the wall sockets didn’t work , kettle didn’t work shower room smell like people had been smoking in it
Good place to stay
They are well managing what they have.
The room was a double with a sea view, very spacious and comfortable, the views were breath taking, witnessed beautiful sunrise/sunsets & beautiful full moons from our bedroom window; the breakfast was Continental and very plentiful although there was a full English Breakfast available for an additional charge. The staff were all fantastic offering exceptional customer service, nothing was to much trouble. Very enjoyable stay.
The Hotel is in need of a refurbishment, no entertainment was available during our stay nor the Hotel Bar serving any form of alcoholic beverages, just soft drinks only...very disappointing 😞 the rooms furnishings comfortable but basic, still excellent value for money 💰 though.
Location
Dirty. Very poor state of repair. No parking, though website says there is. Staff did eventually find parking around the back by the bins for 2 Motorcycles’s. No alcohol! Not that that’s a problem. Glad we were there only one night. Wouldn’t eat there.
Lovely position on seafront, staff very grand helpful, room immaculate, absolute bargain price, couldn't ask for more. Will definitely return
Nothing really,an open bar would be an advantage
Location
The reception staff smelt.
The television didn’t have channel 3
The windows barely opened.
Shower difficult to control - freezing or burning.
Our friend had to change rooms as ceiling coming down.
Good location, clean room, pleasant staff. Good value for money.
There was no wifi in the room, nor a bedside lamp, and the TV didn't work. The room was noisy at night.
There was no towel rail in the bathroom, nor a bathmat.
The best thing I can say is the location was good. The rest of the hotel wasn’t great. There are better hotels a few doors away
Breakfast costs £13 per person and not worth it. They provided squash in plastic jugs instead of juice in glass jugs. Staff seemed to be international students who were inexperienced in customer service.
The hotel was shabby and the room was unpleasant.
The view was definitely a highlight! The hotel staff is very helpful and immediately helps with any issues. However, you cannot reach them through the booking platform. For any questions, you must call the reception directly.
Our overall stay was fine, but the building definitely needs some maintenance. You can see broken windows on the ground level, and the windows upstairs are also in poor condition. One window in the room was stuck wide open, but thanks to the staff, they helped us close it. Another window in our room was actually cracked.
The hotel doesn't offer lunch or dinner options.
Location.
Very noisy! A lot of people talking and walking by all night speaking loudlly and even coursing. We managed to sleep by 4am due to the noise. The noise was inside the hotel and at the back. The bathroom sink was blocked. It was hot and there was no fan or air con in the bedroom. The bed was comfortable and the shower was OK. Due to the noise and mess nearly all night, I will never stay at that hotel again, I'm afraid. It is a shame because the location was excellent!
Location on the seafront
Staff not very attentive and nonplussed about their guests.
Kettle broken with hairs inside.
TV in room didn’t work
Bathroom sink hadn’t been cleaned
Lift not working
Limited facilities - bar was closed.
TV in the bar area not working - another guest had to tune the tv so guests could watch England World Cup. Staff were unconcerned even though there were around 20 guests sitting in the bar area hoping to watch England match.
Walking out the hotel on to the seafront.
Pretty much the Hotel it was dirty, smelly. You could feel the springs in the bed.
Location was great, right on the sea front
It was far too hot in the rooms, no way to open the window properly it had a safety catch on it. It wasn’t as advertised in the pictures either, issues with the walls plaster etc they’ve obviously used pictures from their best rooms in the advert when all rooms should be the same standard.
