To start with, I’d like to thank you again for quickly letting me know I’d left my laptop in the room after checking out; I had time to turn back and pick it up—thank you so much! I stayed at the hotel for three nights, and 99% of the experience was fantastic. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were absolutely charming, and the bartender was a true professional :)—great people; you’re lucky to have such a team. The hotel itself is quite old and shows its age, but that’s normal in Scotland—it’s a love-it-or-hate-it kind of thing, so it didn’t bother me. The room was clean and fresh-smelling, and the food was tasty... so almost everything was great, except for one issue I’ll describe below. Overall, would I come back? Definitely—the view of the lake from the room was amazing. I’ll certainly be back.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the person cleaning my room didn't replenish the toilet paper, so I had a problem on the third day :):):) Otherwise, it was a 5+ experience.

Excellent value for money
Pros:

Booked this hotel in the last minute and it was all very easy, staff were amazing. I missed the breakfast deadline but there were still kind enough to fix me and my pup up a full plate. Views from my room were absolutely breath-taking. It was a short bus ride away from the centre where the station is. Everything was great!

Cons:

Wish it was closer to the centre, and wish more things were provided in the room, like a hairdryer and things like that.
