Very good breakfast, location, room view , hotel decoration

Cons:

We were disappointed because in a premium room, the curtains are supposed to darken 100% and that didn't happen, we had to specifically request slippers, there were no cotton buds in the room. The TV wasn't working and we had to ask for it to be fixed. There was no chaise long that was listed in the room description.

Beautiful hotel, great location, but don't stay in room 302 on the weekends.
Pros:

Loved the location - right in the heart of the city.

Cons:

Room #302 - the all-night party's in the street kept us awake until 4:00am! Friday & Saturday night. Horrible

Noisy and overpriced.

Cons:

The suite was street facing and very noisy with improper windows and blackout curtains ( in June in Iceland is always daylight) we asked many times the staff to fix it ( just the size of the curtains adding a piece) and in five days they did nothing. The same with the heated floor in the bathroom also not working. No room service available. For more than 1000 euros per night it was a scandal.

The room ( suite ) was facing a very noisy street with poor windows. The black out curtains were not wide enough to properly work so it was always clear ( 20 hours light in June) we asked several times the staff to fix it but they didn’t care. The heated floor in the bathroom wasn’t working. We asked the staff with the same result. Overall poor value for money. No room service.

I would recommend the hotel to other people visiting Iceland.
Pros:

Breakfasts were delicious. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and cooperative.

Cons:

Coffee pot leaked water all over. I told the cleaning people. The second night it didn't work at all and it had a burning smell. I notified the main desk also. Curtain should go across the entire length of the window. It was difficult to sleep with all the light entering.

Great Hotel in Fantastic Location!
Pros:

Our family loved everything about this wonderful hotel: the friendly, helpful staff (they were all great, but Yasmin in particular), the perfect location right downtown, the well-appointed rooms, and the fabulous (included) breakfast buffet with every freshly made dish you could wish for. It's easy to reach by Flybus from the airport.
We very much enjoyed our stay here and would love to come visit again!
