Colazione pessima, ripropongo le brioche del giorno precedente (e non oso immaginare le torte che abbiamo visto tre giorni di fila). Nessuna scelta di prodotti tipici. La frutta è stata l'unica cosa buona che abbiamo trovato. Distributore di bevande calde automatico, the senza possibilità di scelta. L'ultimo giorno abbiamo dovuto lasciare la colazione a tavola, era immangiabile.
La camera non l'abbiamo trovata pulita a dovere nonostante il rifacimento quotidiano della stanza. La doccia presentava una forte presenza di muffa. La porta del bagno è in vetro quindi non garantisce la riservatezza dovuta (c'è una tenda da doccia che hanno aggiunto...).
Alle 5 del mattino filtra una forte luce dalla porta finestra che non permette di poter dormire.

We were told by the travel agent who booked the hotel that the hotel had a parking, unfortunately not which was a big disappointment as we arrived quite late and parking is a real problem .
Breakfast not great but comfortable room and very pleasant and helpful staff.
The hotel was situated in the centre of the old town

Colazione abbastanza buona, darei la possibilita' di avere caffe' e cappuccino preparati al momento e non da macchinetta automatica, camera ampia e molto comoda, posizione centrale e veramente comodissima per chi si muove a piedi.

This was not a great experience.

Starting with the smaller issues that made the hotel feel below the standard that was advertised: in addition to ants in the shower, it was impossible to regulate the water temperature. One day the water was scalding hot, and the next it was ice cold. The breakfast was acceptable, but items were not replenished very well.

What really made us feel that something was not right, however, was what happened when we went to pay the evening before check-out. The receptionist offered us a discounted rate of approximately €30. This discounted price was only available that evening and only if we paid in cash.

When we asked why paying in cash would be cheaper than paying by card, the receptionist suddenly seemed to lose his ability to speak English, despite having spoken it perfectly well up until that point. He then started mumbling in Italian about commissions and card reader fees. We might have dismissed this as an odd interaction if it had not been for an apparent scam attempt we experienced before our arrival.

Prior to check-in, we received a WhatsApp message containing all of our booking details, stating that additional information was required and that we needed to provide it through a link in the message. I found this suspicious and contacted the property through Booking.com, where they confirmed that they had not sent the WhatsApp message.

Regardless of whether this was the result of misconduct by someone associated with the hotel or an external security breach, the situation is deeply concerning. The WhatsApp message contained accurate booking details that should not have been available to unauthorized parties. If the message did not originate from the hotel or its staff, this raises serious questions about how our personal booking information was obtained.
