Checking out
Very unclean water coming through ceiling stains in walls and carpets
Perfekte Lage das Zimmer hatte sogar Blick auf den Pier. Das Personal war wahnsinnig freundlich und hilfsbereit
Parkplätze sind dort Mangelware
Staff was lovely and very helpful breakfast was good great location
The photos on website are not what its like in the hotel in desperate need of modernising
Breakfast more selection of food
Friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. Perfect location beautiful views food was great 👍
Pool was not open
Location is excellent. Did not have b breakfast in the restaurant so cannot comment
Rooms are old style but we expected this. The rooms would need refurbishing. The superior view suite had a fantastic view of the sea and the pier but was obscured by the construction in front of the room
nothing
everything no proper parking no pool working scaffolding everywhere mucky run down one star would be lucky can’t believe Booking.com as hotels like this
Everyone was so friendly and helpful
Having to come home
Good location. One room was nice. Lift worked well. Food, especially breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The room my elderly parents had, from the lift had stairs down then up. This should have been mentioned I feel as this really wasn’t acceptable. The en-suites were very nice and obviously not long renovated but they didn’t have a window or extractor fan. There was lots of scaffolding up which again I think should have been mentioned when booking. Some of the stair carpets were very worn.
the location and seaview
thought it was overpriced for our roof and the extra £25 per night for our small dog was way too much. The room was OK nothing like the photos provided just very basic. Probably wouldn't stay again much better places to stay in Llandudno
The hotel is a little run down and tired, but if you are not looking for luxury just a relaxing, comfortable place to stay, then The Marine is just what you're looking for.
The staff were always helpful and friendly, particularly the staff when we arrived on the 23rd May. When we arrived the room we had been given was only accessable by stairs, this was my mistake as I hadn't informed the hotel that my mum was disabled. Although the hotel was fully booked we were given a room change within 10 minutes, the bathroom was small, but it didn't stop us having an enjoyable stay.
The dining room staff were extremely professional and efficient, while again also very friendly. All the staff worked long hours and very hard, but they were always cheerful and helpful(even when I saw some customers being extremely rude to them, which was disgusting) my son is a nightmare receptionist at a hotel and I can only hope his customer care is as good as we received.
Just the general upkeep of the hotel, such as small rips or marks on the curtains, stains on carpets. However, I understand money doesn't grow on trees and none of this affected our stay.
The breakfast was self serve which was great, with plenty of selection, and indeed all of the food was excellent. We have visited this hotel three or four time before and have never been anythiing but pleased with our stay.
There was nothing that I could point a finger at and say I didnt like it. This is an older building with loads of character, the floorboards creak and and hinges squeak but it is all part of the hotel we love. There are other plush hotels in Llandudno but when it comes to value for money this would take some beating.
The sea front situation.
T.V didn,t work. The single room (for the money),was tiny.No proper chair to sit in.Noise from entertainer below was literally vibrating the desk I was working.View from tiny window was a fire escape and a wall.
Everything we did at the hotal
There was nothing we didn't like
The room was spacious, the breakfast was nice and the location was very good
Could have informed about the scaffolding before arrival
