Location and staff and main meal were excellent. l
Shower not working ( no hot water coming out after running for 15 mins) Breakfast was good
Upgrade was kind of the receptionist. Stunning views from the room
Waiting staff in restaurant 2 young men not very welcoming and left me waiting to be seated a while as they were chatting in another area which I considered rude and unprofessional.
The exterior of the building and signage is looking tired and in need of a freshen up as first impressions count. Beautiful inside though.

Absolutely shocked at £19 for two medium glasses of wine
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the bed was also very comfortable.
The shower was poor and quite a draught coming in the window. We requested some new towels but unfortunately we never got them. The breakfast was cold the hot plate was not very warm at all. The quality of the food was ok just not hot enough.

We paid for a deluxe room. The room was clean but nothing like the picture in the brochure. Room was dated.

Beetje outdated. Zeker geen vier sterren meer waard. Vieze ramen. Restaurant straalt niks uit en personeel vergeet bestek enz.

Breakfast was ok, however on both days the food was not hot only warm
The room we were first given RM 215 had damp on all the walls. The bathroom was covered in mould around the walls, shower, toilet and window. We were moved to room 15 bigger and brighter but both rooms well below the standard of the rooms shown on advertising pictures.
Staff all lovely, couldn't do enough for you. Everything very clean, lovely location
Limited menus, duvets no overhang too small and we are not large people. Old building windows wouldn't open. No blackout curtain in bathroom so anyone outside in the evening would have a lovely view if you put the light on .
Location and friendliness of staff.
There was nothing I really disliked. Possibly the overspill dining room is a wee bit bleak but there was a wedding on and staff very busy.
A period hotel that is doing its best to stay good and is winning.
Room 101 was a little sparse but very clean and acceptable.
Breakfast was a bit hit and miss.
The parking.
No phone, no iron, no safe, breakfast was awful, staff are as slow as a week in jail.
We waited 15 minutes to check out before a member of staff appeared at the reception desk.
The hot breakfast food was reheats, the fruit & yogurt consisted of whole Satsumas & a bowl of yogurt.
