Ganz schlechter Service Zustand vom Haus sehr alt katastrophale Fenster und Türschlüssel im Zimmer Personal sehr unfreundlich
Good location very relaxing staff were lovely would definitely go bk
Nothing
The views, the staff and the cleanliness. Olivia was particularly helpful and pleasant
A little dated but it's a lovely building and it's trying to keep the character. The afternoon tea could have had less cakes and more food such as wraps or sausage rolls
Amazing absolutely spectacular spot.
I can see some refurbishment has been going on, hopefully will continue as this beautiful building deserves to be upkept.
There were two people vaping inside the hotel which I found quite disturbing. And I was surprised this was allowed?
Location is very attractive looking down over a pretty Harbour. Rooms with sea view are worth paying a bit extra for.
Has a lift.
The manager and staff were very helpful and friendly to us and our dog.
The hotel has a dining room dedicated to Dogs!
The hotel would have been extremely grand in its day.
The rooms are clean.
It would be so easy to put on a bad review, as others have done, because it really does need a makeover, but the Hotel has a delightful charm that makes up for everything.
The restaurant food is basic, but there are many choices outside at different venues.
I would love to go back to this hotel.
Location
Hard bed and the request for a sea view didn’t occur
A lovely hotel close to all amenities
Nothing
My room, 120 was tired and could be so much more. View outstanding
Breakfast, everything was cold including the plates. Shocking.
Staff
Hotel not a fair representation of the pictures in booking.com add run down and nothing matched the pictures booked a superior room with sea view if that's a superior one hate to think what standard room is
Top of cliff stunning views over portpatrick and the sea. Took dogs and plenty of grassy garden for running included breakfast and dinner
Had to change rooms as carpet v stained. 2nd room good. Hard to get parking space. As v busy
Location
Breakfast poor. Shortage of staff.. bathroom unclean.
Hotel needs updating
Rooms very old fashioned
Location overlooking harbour. Great dinner, drinks and breakfast.
Towel heater wasn't working. Small room size
The location was nice and the cook as well
No staff arrived in the morning so breakfast was very delayed. The cook was so nice and gave me something to go since I needed to start walking. Everything was not like the pictures and pretty run down. The window in my room would not even open
Our second stay at Portpatrick hotel and it was every bit as good as the first. Lovely sea-view ground floor room which the hotel happily switched us to before our stay due to my mobility, helpful staff, spacious room with big comfy bed, lovely cooked breakfast, very convenient parking - all in all a really good stay.
Staircase carpet could have done with a hoover, but that's being very picky.
Friendly, helpful staff
Staffing levels are marginal.
Great location, great views, staff were amazing
