Pros:

The hotel is right on the corner of Taitung, but since it's easily walkable, it's close to good restaurants and bars. Very close to the beach. Some kids were launching small fireworks outside, but it was barely audible, so I'd say the the room is very quiet. Nice bathroom, good beds. Fantastic view of the ocean. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices. Convenient and free parking in the underground garage. The staff was very nice. I liked the floor to ceiling windows in the hallway and the overall atmosphere of the hotel.
