Heel goed bereikbaar, sfeervol hotel in het prachtige vriendelijke dorpje Eijsden aan de Maas.
Pros:

Ondanks de extreme hitte gedurende ons verblijf (39 graden C.) heeft de eigenaar een kamer op de iets koelere 1e verdieping gegeven en er bij gebrek aan airco uit eigen initiatief 2 flinke ventilatoren geplaatst. Voor de 2e nacht werd een mobiele airco aangevoerd die lucht tot 17 graden koelde. Gastvrij, communicatieve service en een rustige nostalgische sfeer.

Cons:

Het ontbrak aan standaard koeling in onze kamer welke pal op de zonkant lag. Dit is en wordt een groter probleem tijdens hetere zomers in ditt zuidelijke stukje Nederland. Ik heb de suggestie gedaan om op het mooie oude pand, luiken te plaatsen aan de buitenzijde van de ramen. Dit is zowel gunstig in zomers als koude winters.

Prima uitvalsbasis voor fietstocht in de regio.
Pros:

Gratis upgrade naar grotere kamer op 2e verdiep. Zeer vriendelijke gastheer en -vrouw.

Cons:

Het bleek wekelijkse sluitingsdag bij onze aankomst. Daardoor was het even gedoe bij de aankomst. Dat kan beter.

Sehr nettes Personal, wir konnten unsere Fahrräder im Gastraum abstellen. Trotz zentraler Lage ruhige Umgebung. Das Frühstück war gut, ein gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

Pros:

Het terras, de bar en de ontbijtzaal zijn heel leuk ingericht en sfeervol. Het voelde echt als een herberg en familiehotel. De locatie is fantastisch en de eigenaars waren vriendelijk.

Cons:

De faciliteiten in de kamer zijn niks speciaals. Met een paar kleine aanpassingen zou je al veel kunnen doen (bijv. door echte glazen in de badkamer te zetten ipv plastig bekers). Maar het was wel comfortabel en het had ook wel z'n charme, het was alsof we bij mensen thuis in hun logeerkamer sliepen.
