I agree with previous reviews that staff are super friendly, warm and accommodating. They made me feel welcome and seen. Whenever I walked by they checked in to see whether everything was fine. They also provided me with suggestions for hikes in the area.
The hotel and room made me feel calm and at home, and the rooftop gave an amazing view of the city and the surrounding mountains. On clear days, the Himalayas could be seen.
There was unlimited access to filtered water and toilet paper.
I would stay here again
Keep in mind, as a western tourist, you need to buy the tourist ticket for Durbar-square as the hotel is situated in this area. Since you probably will be visiting this area anyway, you will have the ticket. It is valid for the length of your stay. For example, my ticket was valid for 1 week.
