I liked that the Supervisor Rag acknowledgement of room was not up to standard and upgraded free of charge.
That our original room had dirty carpet, walls and stained sheets, off white and ripped towels, leaking cystern toilet, off smell in room on arrival.
This resort was amazing,
Location,staff,food!!!
Will definitely be back

Everything!!! We absolutely loved our stay at Taumeasina. Stunning!!!
Great location , great food options , great beach and pool access . Awesome room . Clean .
Friendly staff
So run down, not clean, very dewy, facilities need an upgrade. The bigger pool was under construction so there were about 100 people swimming in 1 pool, yet they still allowed day passes for locals to swim. Not worth the money
Updated and clean
Nothing
Staff very friendly and helpful, although service at the bar/restaurant was a bit slow at times.
The room could have been a bit cleaner. But overall I was happy with it and it looked just like the pictures
Firstly, we were here for a wedding so this was not a resort we would have chosen normally and we'd spent 9 days on Savai'i in a very relaxed resort just chilling which was what we both needed so this resort was quite a shock to the system and just didn't let up. We were definitely disappointed overall. The (probably) nice resort style pool was closed for repairs which genuinely affected the entire resort for which the compensation was not adequate in our opinion. We were also only told a couple of weeks before coming which we all thought was pretty cheeky.
The artificial beach (which was the only place to sunbathe) is falling into the ocean and didn't have enough shade or enough sun loungers. And the sunloungers that were there were incredibly uncomfortable, mostly due to the paper thin mattresses on them. In short, the beach was extraordinarily average.
There's music pumping at all hours (yes it shuts off at 10:30pm but if you've got to get up at 3am for a flight, that's not much consolation when people are screaming into a karaoke machine right outside your room) and everything except the lobby and the kayaks etc is looking pretty tired at this point. Rooms were clean and fairly well appointed if basic. Looks over function, for sure. Nowhere to put suitcases either, that's a real miss.
I was genuinely surprised to see that there was nowhere set out for the local cultural show. The resort is massive and there's plenty of space but much of it takes place in the car park. Granted, that's because they're twirling fire around but even so, the fiafia is enough of a draw that it should have had a dedicated space.
The restaurant could be anywhere in Australia or NZ. If you want burgers and similar, this is your place for sure. There was an entire page on the menu that was not available and in terms of fine dining (something i'd expect of a resort with these kinds of rack rates), absolutely nothing. Even the slightly nicer set menu was eaten in the same place as everything else.
Breakfast was good, the buffet had excellent variety and the meals/drinks were well priced.
In short, don't come here if you want to see genuine Samoa. Come here if you've got screaming kids, an aversion to seeing a country properly, don't want to eat anything different to at home and just want entertaining every minute of every day. Please; if you fit that description, come here. Don't go anywhere else, we don't want you ruining all the nice resorts. If you want a relaxing beach holiday, do some research, find a smaller resort and get out of your comfort zone a bit but don't come here.
Excellent hotel with plenty of activities, a great fitness center, and a perfect location to explore Samoa. You could easily spend a whole week here while discovering the island and taking excursions around the south of Upolu. The daily cultural activities and exchanges with the staff were authentic and truly memorable.
The beds could be a little softer for extra comfort.
Beautiful location, clean, staff were great. Servers took great care with ensuring you were taken care of. Opportunities with receiving the correct room that was booked, fixed accommodations the second day. Food was average, limited selection for dinner due to not having available ingredients.

In need of repair in places
Kind and courteous staff. Plenty entertainment and activities. Main pool was empty. (Revamped)
Beautiful Resort and wonderful staff. Some maintenance on the big pool was a little noisy, but didn’t impact on the holiday at all. Was able to tune it out.
Loved the updates about the daily activities/happenings. Wellness Spa was also amazing.
Stayed at Taumeasina for one night prior to departing for the USA. It was a nice stay, as all of our stays have been. The service was courteous and friendly. The room was clean and neat. Everything in the room worked as it should. Spread for breakfast was ample and one could find anything they wanted to eat.
The setting of this accommodation is just beautiful. Every place you look. The staff were friendly and really made the stay great. I will be back! The food was great at the restaurant and staff were attentive and always willing to help. I had organised Airport transfers and this process was easy and transport reliable. They even organised early breakfast for some guest who wanted it. A great goodbye touch.
We had a great stay at the resort, when we brought a fresh fish caught when we went out with troppo fishing. They were great and cooked up our fish, Chef Dazvir did a fantastic job. We couldn’t eat all that was served but wanted to as it tasted sooooo good.
