Pros:

Super Lage: direkt neben Dom, Rathaus und Marktplatz, fantastisches Frühstücks-Cafe Middelbeck nebenan.
Sauber, preiswert.

Cons:

Fenster konnte nicht verdunkelt werden.
Etwas laut, da frühmorgens LKWs anfuhren, um am Marktplatz Stände aufzubauen. Da hatten wir wohl etwas Pech.

Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist zentral gelegen.

Cons:

Es gab kein Personal, sondern SelfCheckIn und das um 19 Uhr. Das empfohlene Parkhaus war extrem verlottert, im vollgepissten Treppenhaus hatten sich Junkies häuslich niedergelassen, die gerade entsprechend beschäftigt waren. Über diese musste man förmlich hinwegsteigen. Die ganze Nacht war es extrem laut, bis 5:30 Uhr wurde auf dem Domplatz gefeiert oder ggf. auch gehaust, schlafen bei geöffneten Fenster war nicht möglich. Mangels Klimaanlage war das sehr unangenehm. Das Hotel ist von außen schön, von innen wird man zurückversetzt in die 80er Jahre. Ich kann die guten Bewertungen nicht verstehen.

Wer Aachen kennenlernen will, sollte sich hier einquartieren. .
Pros:

Absolut zentrale Lage am Markt. Die Altstadt ist von dort fußläufig zu erkunden. Ein Café gegenüber bietet ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet an. Parkhäuser sind in der Nähe.

Die Lage ist gut.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr enttäuschend und entsprach überhaupt nicht den Photos in der Buchung. Es war sehr alt, vor allem das Badezimmer, vergilbter Fön usw. Das Bett knarzte und die Einrichtung war sehr spartanisch und ungemütlich. Wir sind oft in Aachen, aber hier werde ich definitiv nicht mehr buchen.
