Terrible Noise Experience and Broken Refund Promise
Pros:

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience at Courtyard Long Island City/New York Manhattan View was extremely disappointing.

I booked a 2-night stay with two rooms for my family trip to New York. Unfortunately, due to severe noise issues, we were unable to sleep at all during the first night. The lack of rest seriously affected my condition the following day and disrupted our travel plans, forcing us to check out early and find another hotel at a much higher last-minute price.

At checkout, the front desk staff acknowledged the situation and clearly told us that a full refund would be issued because of the circumstances. Based on that assurance, we left the hotel expecting the matter to be resolved fairly.

However, what actually happened was very different. Only the unused second night was refunded, while the first night charge remained. More disappointing was that my follow-up emails regarding the promised full refund have received no response at all.

I understand that problems can happen at any hotel. What matters is how management handles those situations afterward. In this case, the biggest issue was not only the poor stay experience itself, but the failure to honor what was promised and the complete lack of communication afterward.

I hope future guests do not experience the same situation.

Loved the place- the accessibility to all the attractions- and the fact that we had a place to rest comfortably after wa
Pros:

The hotel is really accessible to all the points- be it the airport or the various attractions- the metro will take you everywhere. To top it you have convenience stores as well as a variety of restaurant options - so we didn’t starve!
The hotel room was clean, very comfortable- the housekeeping staff did a great job in maintaining the cleanliness- thank you.
The room itself had everything- right from the bed to the bathroom- no hassles encountered with anything and to top it all the view was good too!

Cons:

So this could be us overthinking but we did notice that the socket near the tv(to the left to be precise) has a lens like thing in it - it looked odd. Like we said it could be us overthinking - hence we didn’t reach out to the hotel staff or create an inconvenience, but it should be checked, just incase.

It’s near in train station

Cons:

My flight got delayed when I called the staff I talked to last April 3, 2026 is rude and did not answering my questions right, I’m in the middle of disappointment of my delayed flight and the hotel staff that I talked to is not helping and for the heater and AC they did not tell us that there is a switch off and on so we stayed for 4 days feeling cold.

Pros:

La posizione è ottima vicino alla metro, la dimensione della camera discreta.
Essendo vicina alla metro si sentono i treni passare, anche se le camere sono ben isolate ( richiedere la camera non sulla ferrovia).
Ottimo il market affianco all'Hotel dove preparano frullati, panini e possibilità di effettuare la colazione.
Direi un buon punto d'appoggio per un viaggio a New York
