Pros:

We had a great stay at Mildom Express in Almaty. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The reception staff were especially friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay.

The breakfast was good.. The location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk to the mall, with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. There's also a pharmacy conveniently located right in front of the hotel.

Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Almaty.

Overall, there is nothing wrong with this hotel aside from the fact that the room is tiny.
Pros:

I stayed in Almaty for almost a month and I have stayed in better accommodations. The only reason why I booked this hotel is that the previous one cancelled on me before check in. The location is great, it is near Arbat and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. There is also a nearby mall called the Mega Park? But, the room is tiny. Like, there's only a bathroom and bed situation. But, if you are only passing by and need a roof above your head for a night then this is an okay place for you.

Breakfast is okay. It is not a buffet type just like the other hotels since they do not have a dining hall so they tell you what is on the menu for the day and bring it to your room. It's a combination of toast and porridge and something else depending on the day.

Cons:

Would have been good to be able to sit down in a dining hall and not eat on my bed. :(

Cons:

Personel niekompetentny, prawie nie mówi po angielsku, początkowo dostaliśmy klucze do zajętego pokoju. Pokój nie był gotowy. Klimatyzacja najpierw była bez pilota, potem bardzo hałasowała. Śniadania w cenie, ale kiedy zgłaszaliśmy, że wyjeżdżamy następnego ranka i chcemy na wynos, to nic się nie dało. Herbata na 3 dni i 2 osoby to 4 torebki.

За неделю до заезда я написал и уточнил у персонала, можем ли мы при позднем заселении остаться в номере до 20:00 в день выезда. Нам ответили, что без доплаты и каких-либо вопросов мы сможем находиться в номере до этого времени.

Однако при заселении в 22:00, после нескольких часов перелёта, на ресепшене нам сообщили, что в Booking нам отвечал не отель, а сам Booking, и что для продления проживания до 20:00 необходимо доплатить 15 000 тенге. Мы были уставшими и согласились.

Но перед выездом, в 18:00, нам сообщили, что пора освобождать номер. На мой вопрос: «Как так? Мы же продлили проживание до 20:00», ответили, что на ресепшене ошиблись. Честно говоря, выяснять отношения и ругаться уже не было ни сил, ни желания.

Из минусов также отмечу очень плохую шумоизоляцию — слышно практически всё, что происходит в соседних номерах и коридоре.

В итоге осталось неприятное впечатление. Сложилось ощущение, что персонал может менять условия на ходу, особенно когда понимает, что гостям уже некуда деваться поздно вечером после дороги.
