Comfortable bed
Good location
Great breakfast
Noise of traffic and cars going in and out of car park
Breakfast was exceptional and tasty… it was fabulous and lots of choice…. Was slightly disappointed there was only prunes available on one day, also bread supplier didn’t turn up one day but tbh the quality of the breakfast was amazing, so we got over this.
The bar shut early one night and I wanted to pre order so there would be a drink left for me to take to my room but nobody picked up the phone.
Biscuit supply in room could have been a bit better ie 2 packs of 2 instead of one pack between 2 left.
These are all minor details. Food choice was very meat based and rich so not much choice for people who don’t eat rich meats
Friendly, helpful staff and a great sea view from our room and the food is excellent.
We had to ask for them to re clean the bathroom on arrival but this was dealt with promptly and efficiently.
Location, staff and breakfast were all good.
Room size and location, and no hot water. It was not a 4* room as advertised. The only window opened onto the driveway where people walked past to meals, and the deck where they could sit outside the bar. So you could not open the curtains at any time as all privacy was lost. The hot water did not work. The staff tried to cover up by saying maintenance would look at it, but finally admitted the boiler was broken and the 3 rooms affected were sharing an unsuitable single room water heater. To cap it off, there was a maintenance cupboard in the room, filled with paint and accessories!!
Breakfast and dinner was very good
Good location for the purpose of our visit
Lack of electric sockets in room, rubbish shower no power but understandable for an old property
Great location, friendly staff & excellent food
Room very spacious a little tired
Staff friendly & welcoming
Food was excellent
Modern looking room.
Excellent weather
Building deco looking tied in public spaces
The Shower we couldn’t get it to regulate.
Due to extreme heat, possibly an offer of a quite fan, possibly a small charge.
The staff were very helpful and friendly
Previously stayed a few years ago, but it is looking very tired now. The food choice could be better and breakfast the buffet should be topped up more, the apple juice had run out on all 3 morning, perhaps supply small dishes and teaspoons for the sauces, as they only put out a large bowl. There were cobwebs and dust in the room and in the dining room.
We had a lovely room with a little bit of garden with 2 loungers and a little table & chairs as the weather was so gorgeous we made great use of the outside space
Room decor nice big walk in shower etc 😊🪴☀️
The only thing that was disappointing was the evening meal it was not great & very expensive we feel for what we had.
However the breakfast was perfect great sausages & bacon in the bar area which is a nicer room.
Also the conservatory room was a bit lacking in atmosphere compared to the other quirky decor in the rest of the hotel which we prefer
This was our 3 rd stay the first since it was sold last yr.
We would stay again as the room and breakfast were great - but we’d go else where to eat in the evening.
The room, but one side of the bed was very lumpy.
Two single mattresses on bed frame.
The food over salted. 100's of fly's on drapes on ceiling. Dead fly's all over window seals plus fly phices every where. Couldn't finish Starter as fly fell in my food! Then it happened again with my main meal. Didn't have breakfast as the dinner put us off!
I had a lovely hot tub room, and although it was too hot to use the tub, the terrace was a very cool spot in a very hot spell. Location is perfect for RSPB at Titchwell, and the staff are just lovely. I think the rooms are quite variable, thinking of my previous stay here, but I suppose you get what you pay for and this was fantastic. The gardens are gorgeous this time of year, and plenty of room to sit out.
Nothing
Lovely location opposite Titchwell marshes, very comfortable with helpful and friendly staff. Food was absolutely outstanding.
