Great location with wonderful staff. Just make sure you’re comfortable with stairs.
Pros:

Great location and eclectic. We were fortunate to be on the ground floor. Great artwork and a common room with treats to have with a cuppa. Breakfast is available for those who’d like it. I would highly recommend for a night or two stay if you’re good with stairs.

Cons:

Lots of stairs to breakfast and common room. We stayed at the front on the ground floor but when people came in during the night the banging of the front door woke us up. As did the thing floors above of someone clomping around in shoes at 2am.

Pros:

Perfect location to stay even during the Gentse feesten because it is in a quiet street.
On any other time in Gent also highly recommend this place because it is very central in the city center.

Clean, spacious, beautiful room and bathroom, very friendly welcome, easy communication, very comfortable bed. Had the best sleep (and I am a difficult sleeper)

Cons:

There was no hot water in the late afternoon, Kristoff was charming and apologetic and the fault was later found. On the second night some people had set up speakers and were dancing all very loudly until at least 4 o'clock in the morning. If there had been a member of staff on the premises they would have been able to ask the people to move or as the Politie to move them on. It was well outside the are of the feest

Lovely quiet spot in central Ghent
Pros:

Lovely big room in a beautiful old building just off the centre of Ghent. Great location within a few minutes walking distance of the centre, but in a lovely quiet street. Plentiful breakfast with fresh bread/croissants, cheese, jams and eggs made to order.
