Warm and welcoming staff at the reception.
Everything seemed clean and though through and the place is full of character.
The room was quirky with low beams and had the character of an old coaching Inn which it was.
The breakfast had plenty of choice and was very tasty.
We had a evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent.
The shower was a bit low but that can be forgiven as it is a very old building.
Proper breakfast and a lovely quality night of sleep.

The property is dated and needs renovating. The continental breakfast is terrible with the sausages being booked to much the skin was hard. The bacon must of been cooked on a radiator.
I stay in and around Guildford in a hotel every week and this is the worst place of all.

Well located for visiting Wisley which was the main purpose of our stay plus excellent value for money

But warm in a heat wave but it’s an old building and the weather was exceptional
The Talbot Inn is beautiful, the room was a little dated but clean and comfortable.
Check out was at 11am which gave you plenty of time in the morning.
The only thing that was missing was decent decaf coffee- but apart from that everything else was fine.
Location was excellent, nice little town outside of London. Quaint and homey. We were playing golf in the area and this fit our needs pefectly.
Unfortunately, it was quite hot while we were there and there isn't air conditioning, which made it somewhat uncomfortable at night sleeping after the heat built up all day. Fans were available, and if i only had and extension cord to get the fan over to the window to pull in the cool night air, that would have fixed everything.
The Talbot Inn is in a great position in the middle of Much Wenlock. It's authentically old with a super bar and restaurant serving beautifully cooked food. The b&b accommodation is spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We will certainly use it as a stopover place again.

Es ist ein sehr traditionelles Gebäude, das zur Gastronomie ausgebaut wurde.
Das Essen war leider kein Erfolg. Für das Geld hätten wir mehr erwartet. Der Service wird durch junges Personal geprägt, denen es teilweise sehr an Interesse und Motivation fehlt.
