Location near wisley
Breakfast seemed a little bland
Room was great, ground floor room lots of space.
The beer was awful didn't change at all over my 2 night stay. The food was a little over priced for me so had pizza which was ok.
Good parking although shame you have to pay extra, good beer on tap, very comfortable bedding and bed
The extra charge for parking, the shower head was faulty
Lovely place, calm and nice, great food and amenities

Old building with lots of character. Great staff and buffet breakfast.
Room was a little warm.. with only a really noisy fan. Windows were open but on a fairly busy road so noisy.
Great location to visit Wisley Gardens.
Staff good, working in hot conditions.
No air conditioning. During the recent heatwave, window was open when we arrived late afternoon letting in the hot breeze.
Bathroom tired and shower door stuck and made a loud noise when opened.
Overpriced for such a small room.
Had to pay an extra £10 for parking.
Central position and great food. Car parking space.
All the food breakfast and dinner was excellent. beautifully cooked and hot. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We visited some interesting places and despite the heat had an enjoyable week. The boat trip on the river Severn at Shrewsbury was lovely
Our room was at the top in the eaves and had very tiny windows. Even with a fan it was very hot. We had requested a bath which was a luxury but the shower was very poor when I came to wash my hair it would only run boiling hot or freezing cold
Staff at breakfast just chatting to each other, many table had old breakfast plates (we were in there for 30 mins and no one cleaned up) ran out out several breakfast items (pastries for example) and just said they had a big group in. We said breakfast still had over an hour to go, they just shrugged this off. When pushed eventually said would speak to the chef, then would be 30 mins for pastries etc to come out. Complained (as did several others) to guy on reception and said “sorry” and took price of a couple of drinks off the bill. This is NOT the solution.
Location, cheerful young breakfast and dinner staff.
Many things.
1. Misrepresentation on booking.com of the room facilities (eg that there was a bath & included toiletries whereas there was a shower and 1 bottle of handwash and 1 bottle of shampoo/body wash combined both refilled so many times you couldn’t push the top down) and when I questioned this lack I was told booking.com made the description on booking.com which I reject. The hotel makes up their description.
2. Hard bed with no mattress protector and a folded over double bed sheet which did not reach the sides to tuck in. High yuck factor.
3. Hot weather and tiny noisy fan.
4. In room safe was locked & unusable, we had to ask for it to be opened.
5. Overall shabby with urgent need of a repaint. Curtain hooks hanging off the curtain rod. Kettle when we arrived had 1/2 inch of water with scum floating on top, had to take it to reception next morning to get it scrubbed out.
6. Poor security anyone can walk in off the street and up the stairs to the Room 404 door.
Food was exellent
